"Her. Madness. She... she tells me things... she asks for my help..."

A wind began to rise.

Of course Tull! And maybe ill make my blue bunny (remember that?) a Servant of Rage.

Ista looked nervously at Tull.

"No, Tull!" Erif said sternly. "Don't listen to her!"

He glanced at Ista, questioning.

“That could be a nice change of pace,” Sasha admitted, staring down at the bunny in its hat and choosing to ignore Beosta. “Do you run into a lot of… trouble?”

Tull looked up. "And why not? Everything I have done has led to disaster. How can I trust my judgement?"

Ista was very worried. "Fine... I can do what Jilu did... but Mirth and I aren't on very good terms. It's a rocky relationship." She took away the extensive shame.

"But.. but..." He calmed down, but it could be told that he was still on edge.

"But nothing," said Erif firmly. "You saved me; I'm not going to let you pledge yourself to a crazy lady that clearly does not have your best interests in mind."

Tull smiled, grateful for the intervention. "Where is this oracle?"

"Right here," said a voice.

A tall, middle-aged woman stepped out from behind a tree. "Now. What are you doing in my forest?"

Erif fished the Book of Unwinding Thread out of his pocket and brandished it. "You told me this would help me!" he accused. "But it's just a book of stories!"

The oracle folded her arms. "And has it helped you?"

Erif sputtered. "... how is a book of stories supposed to help me?"

The man before Platypus held a sword, one that shone with the power of Plot. On his head, he wore the crown of Suddenly, Pineapples, and Platypus felt the dread influence of that most powerful of Plotblade upon him, no longer lying dormant and useless. The man laughed, an awful sound. “So, another hero comes to destroy me? You will fall just as they.

Platypus looked at him. "So Nameless finally decided it could do things, huh? What a foolish mistake for him to make. I wonder why he made it."

He summoned a brightly glowing Vengeance. "It seems you've started to destroy this world. That is something that must be stopped. And I suppose I will have to be the one."

Also, that's not the most powerful one, it's power level is just always constant. It has the most consistent power. Assuming you're talking about Suddenly, Pineapples.

The Valiant One tripped and fell on his face. He was promptly spoiled by invisible rabbits.

fyi I might not be super active today.

That's that taken care of. For now.

The General defended against the combined attack without stepping yielding. A hand knocked aside Zanitar’s Brightwield, sending it sailing through the air to impale a corpse. A mace flashed, and Hacob’s Narrationblade blurred into mist briefly, just as the General sent a mace crashing toward his chest.

Hacob stumbled backward, barely avoiding the blow. Then he slammed his broken shield into the handle of the mace he'd already hit with his Narrationblade, further cracking the handle. I can break that one soon. All it takes is one good hit...

Shoe made a so-so gesture with his hand.

We don't really look for danger, it just finds us, he wrote. Besides, you're dead, it's not like you could get hurt easily, right?

Beosta stole the pad and added, Do you think fire or anything might hurt you?

Then, as a side note to Shoe, she wrote, You all right?

Ista noticed the help. “Erif. You met a Narrator while getting it.”

Ista blinked. “Tull is a powerful person.”

I keep on almost breaking his walls… again…

Erif glanced at Tull, then at the oracle. "What?" she said. "The journey is important." Then she sighed. "But sometimes the destination is also important. You haven't read the whole book yet, have you?"

Eric paused. "No, but-"

Hmmmmm. Something is familiar…

Tull waved his hand, and flipped to the end of the book, reading it.

You're not gonna get pneumonia and die or something, right?

The book described the current scene, up to the point where Tull had begun to read.

Bacon pulled out a magnifying glass, peered at Shoe, then nodded. "I pronounce you pneumonia-free."

Good, Beosta thought. Stupid stoat. Livetha, when are we gonna get moving?

Livetha chittered an I-don’t-know.
