I know that the stuff he said was basically Amarams own thoughts and opinions, but what of him was from Yelig-Nar, besides the surges and the crystals? The fighting abilities? His actions? I really don't get the mechanics and effects of the Yelig-Nar corruption, so how high of a percentage of the Amaram-Unmade hybrid was actually the real Amaram?
Blazenella he/him Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 So Yelig-Nar's whole shtick is that you swallow a smokestone with Yelig-Nar inside, and Yelig-Nar will try to eat you (A.K.A. The whole crystal carapace corruption stuff). However, if a person has sufficient control over Yelig-Nar they can stay alive. Amaran had better control than Aesudan, but obviously was eaten pretty fast. As far as we know Yelig-Nar doesn't corrupt thoughts, just the body.
