Botanica she/her Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 It seems that the hair color of the Heralds is more like an artistic interpretation. The dominating color tone of the picture is red-orange-yellow, so the artist might choose some colors which don't clash with it.
Botanica she/her Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 (edited) Tks for the info =) WOW, give the fact tha WOR will be 80 pages fat WPR Chinese edition will probaly be around 1400 pages, good thing that they split the book because this is crazy =) Haha if they don't split the book it will surely be thicker than any in-world dictionaries…(Great great tool for muscle building and self-defense!) If they split WoR in four books, I won't be very surprised! =) Most translated fantasy books come out these years are split into several books due to the monstrous thickness. Mistborn trilogy gets six books. Elantris only one book but it's super thick I couldn't even hold it right and the size of the words inside are very small… Stormlight and ASoIaF are the very few that get at least three books for each volume…It's too crazy! And for some people who also like to collect the English version…aww…We are so very doomed! Edited February 28, 2014 by Botanica
Argent he/him Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 If you are like most of the Chinese girls I've met in the US, you might need a dedicated backpack just to carry Words of Radiance around... 1
Botanica she/her Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 If you are like most of the Chinese girls I've met in the US, you might need a dedicated backpack just to carry Words of Radiance around... Yeah it's true! When I was reading WoK, I had to carry it around everyday so that I could read it anywhere. It nearly took up all the space of the backpack… The thickness of WoR is more than that… I think I should do some preparations now since the book will arrive next week.
Swimmingly he/him Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 "Hey, Botanica, what's with the hiking backpack? It almost looks like it's full of books!" "...no reason." 1
Botanica she/her Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 "Hey, Botanica, what's with the hiking backpack? It almost looks like it's full of books!" "...no reason." *murmuring* Because I have The Book of Endless Pages inside! 1
Argent he/him Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 "It almost looks like it's full of book!" Fix't. 2
Swimmingly he/him Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I laughed out loud when I heard the reason it wasn't gonna be call BoEP.
Natans he/him Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 *murmuring* Because I have The Book of Endless Pages inside! Fix't. LOL. Bota ( if you allow call you this way) they sell the book in parts or when you buy you got the whole thing? Silly question I know but if they sell i parts I almost can see someone screamming when the book enter in some really good part and he didn't buy the whole thing. Let's say Kal make his jump in the tower and boom the book end. Man I would go running to the first store to keep reading =)

Man I would go running to the first store to keep reading =) Yeah it's the right nickname =) Fortunately I got the whole thing when buying the book. If they dare to sell the books separately, most readers are going to be very irritated, and man it's a Sanderson book! Readind it allows no pause! I was flipping through the three books of WoK and found something interesting: Book one ends with Rock saying his super long real name and book two ends with Kaladin giving up his Shards in Amaram's army. The pausing points are clever =)
PeterAhlstrom he/him Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 WoR actually naturally splits into three parts. You'll see a post from Brandon about this before too long. 6
