Any "Stirlingites" out there?

Hey yo!

Any other Lindsey Stirling fans out there?  I have been a Lindsey fan since her YouTube origin days. I think I first heard her in 2012 - "Crystallize" and "Elements" were the first two songs I heard.  Now I pretty much listen to her albums all the time - haha!  My daughter loves to rockin' to Lindsey in her car seat .  (Because, I'm a concerned mother who wants to ensure that my child is exposed to diverse things like...dubstep violin .)

Anywho - if you're a Lindsey fan share your Lindsey experience! What was the first song you heard?  What is your favorite song? Fave video?

My first Lindsey Stirling exposure was the "Roundtable Rival" music video.

First reaction:  "What on Earth did I just watch?"

Second reaction:  "I need to watch that AGAIN!"

My husband and I have tickets to her tour stop here in KC in October.  I am excite.

Pretty much my reaction to Roundtable Rival too. It is awesomeness. I don't know much of her other work though.

Go check out "Take Flight" on YouTube.  There's a bit in there that makes me think, "This must be what Steeljumping looks like."

I first encountered her through her Shadows video, before she got so popular I think.

And I have to honestly admit that, as a male, I enjoyed the music as much as the view

I think my first exposure to Lindsey was her cover of "Party Rock Anthem." I had the good fortune to be able to go to one of her concerts in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, a few years ago, which was TOTALLY EPIC. It was a super small, intimate venue, and my brother Ryan and I stood down right in front of the stage the whole time. I managed to snag a high five as she was leaving the stage at one point too.

It's not just males who enjoy Lindsey's dancing--I love watching her too, and the Shadows video is one of my absolute favorites. The fact that she can simultaneously play her violin and sound good AND dance so gracefully makes me a little jealous.

I've been keeping track of her YouTube stuff for a while now (since Crystallize, I think). Pretty original stuff, I am happy she is as successful as she is.
