Kaymyth she/her Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 What is this thing you call a life? Does it involve *lip quivers* social interaction? *gasp* ....sometimes....
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 ....sometimes.... *screams and runs to basement with Netflix* 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 What is this thing you call a life? Does it involve *lip quivers* social interaction? *gasp* ....sometimes.... Sometimes it just involves saying hello to the random people your pug decides to bark at. 1
Young Bard he/him Posted March 1, 2016 Author Posted March 1, 2016 Super Tuesday results will start flooding in in about 4 hours. I am genuinely excited and nervous...
The Invested Beard Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I just want to sit in my house and drink until it's all over.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I just want to sit in my house and drink until it's all over. Maybe we should host an Election That Never Ends party. Everyone brings a different type of alcohol, and we all sit and drink while watching the caucuses and primaries until we can't stand Trump's face anymore, or we're too drunk to care.

I am in favor of these things.
Orlion Blight he/him Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 But booze might make Trump attractive! Do you really want to risk that?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 But booze might make Trump attractive! Do you really want to risk that? I think we're safe. Trump's face is one of the few things guaranteed to break beer goggles.
Kaymyth she/her Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) But booze might make Trump attractive! Do you really want to risk that? I'm really not worried. I'm registered Democrat. Also, my voting isn't until Saturday. Yep, I have to burn half my freakin' Saturday just to stand around and wait to caucus. Stupid Kansas. Edited March 1, 2016 by Kaymyth

Who isn't a registered Democrat?*glares at all the Sharders who are under eighteen or not American*
The Invested Beard Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Who isn't a registered Democrat? *glares at all the Sharders who are under eighteen or not American* Me. Registered Independent. I find most of the more polarized stuff in politics, and really politics in general somewhat icky.
Kaymyth she/her Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Who isn't a registered Democrat? *glares at all the Sharders who are under eighteen or not American* There are probably at least a few registered Republicans floating around here. Me. Registered Independent. I find most of the more polarized stuff in politics, and really politics in general somewhat icky. You and my husband both. He refuses to register with a party, so he gets to stay home with the dog on Saturday while I sit around and wait to caucus. Imma take crochet with me.
The Invested Beard Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Yeah I just...I don't know, I see good and bad in both sides. I don't think anyone really has all the right answers and it always comes down to just voting for the person I feel is probably the least evil. Which by the way sometimes can backfire. Sigh. 2
Kaymyth she/her Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Yeh. I could wax eloquent for a while on all the things wrong with the system, but it really comes down to the catch-22 where we have to somehow convince the people in power that putting new limits on how long they can stay in power and that sharing their power with more political parties is a good thing.
Mailliw73 he/him Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 For five years I was stranded on a hellish--whoops, sorry. Let me try again. In the year 2166 an immortal tyrant named--dang it. My name is Barry--sparks, I swear I didn't think I was watching this much CW here lately. All my shows!
Mistrunner Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I've been watching too much Supernatural lately, and there was this super weird lightning storm last night. I bet you can tell where this is going.

Mistrunner Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 So, did you line all the door frames and windowsills with salt?Maybe. Does anyone have a .45 I can borrow?
Oversleep Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I was making 2 minute noodles right. and then I thought. Mistborn Hemalurgist WIth Shardplate and Blade. A true Sharder: making noodles inspires to think about magic BTW, the Blade doesn't have to be Obsidian, it's already Invested enough to be very hard to be Pushed.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) I am at work. This makes me sad because I made the mistake of watching Chapter 2 of Over the Garden Wall before I left and now all I want to do is go home and watch the rest. Edited March 1, 2016 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles
The Invested Beard Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Let's be honest. None of us need a specific reason to be sad at work.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Let's be honest. None of us need a specific reason to be sad at work. No, not really, but today it's an actual excuse and not just general work-related sorrow.
The Invested Beard Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 No, not really, but today it's an actual excuse and not just general work-related sorrow. I wonder if I could get away with "work related sorrow" as a reason for disability leave...
