I didn't want to get on before I read Calamity, and then I just had to read Cold Days for The Dresden Files, and I was in a cave without internet access last weekend, but I have returned. Calamity was amazing and Dresden Files keeps getting better (you were right, Kaymyth). On a suitably random note, I'm typing this thinking of what a good evil mastermind I'd make, typing on my laptop in a darkened room and occasionally randomly laughing.

It's harder for a fantasy fan, I think, because anything I'd want to read would be fantasy, but since they're literally magical, coming up with flights of fancy is a bit more difficult. Not offhand. The only thread I know of where anything's hit it is the Featured Members thread. Silverblade kept adding the new profiles to the second post, and it eventually overflowed and he had to move them to make room for more.

I just found out today thanks to LG18. Wilson believed it was 80k characters, but her 52k post wouldn't post, so we believe it's 50k.

The Invested Beard Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 So can I just say being really sick as a married person with 3 kids is way way way crappier than when you're single or even married with no kids? Last week my 6 year old daughter comes down with a nasty virus. Wife and I think okay let's try and quarantine this. Yeah that totally worked. Wednesday night I come down with it. Nasty fever, body aches, chills and then over the course of a couple days turns into what feels like bronchitis. So I'm out of commission on Thursday, wife is trying to keep up with two sickies now. Thursday night, wife and 3 year old son get it. So now it's two sick adults trying to take care of two sick kids and a healthy 9 month old all weekend. Last night, 9 month old gets his fever. I'm at the tail end, still feeling crappy but back at work. Daughter is mostly better but still working on ear infection from the virus with antibiotics, 3 year old son still sick as a dog, wife still sick and developing a sinus infection because of the thing. Baby miserable. Good Lord I hate this. Rant over, sorry.
