Orlion Blight he/him Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 You know, there's such a thing as "creative non-fiction"
ThirdGen Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I just took the political compass test. I'm more left libertarian than ThirdGen. https://politicalcompass.org/analysis2?ec=-9.25&soc=-7.49 Found a unicorn!
ThirdGen Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Unicorn? Someone further left than me, a rare, thought-to-be-mythical creature. 2
Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Someone further left than me, a rare, thought-to-be-mythical creature. See, Kaymyth, Ookla the Mythical was a very suitable name for me.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Just gave the villain of my WIP all of my mom's crazypants views and then some. It felt awesome. 1
Kestrel she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 My fish that died a few weeks ago... apparently died giving birth (mollies are livebearers) And now I have a baby fish. The only one to survive that I've seen. Oh dear. I specifically tried to get all male so this wouldn't happen.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 The first sentence of my mom's blog this week: "Regular readers of this blog may have noticed that I rarely delve into political issues." AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Seriously. She might not do political stuff every week, but she's been remarking on politics pretty frequently lately.

I kind of want to ask for a link for the singular purpose of countering every point she makes, but she'd probably take out her frustration on being disagreed with out on you or one of your siblings. What type of blog does she have anyway?

What type of blog does she have anyway? What do you mean—topic or host?
Silverblade5 he/him Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 What do you mean—topic or host? What website does she blog on?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 What website does she blog on? Wordpress. She writes mostly on church stuff.
Kestrel she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Wordpress. She writes mostly on church stuff.Wordpress is the host. I used to use Wordpress. In any case, your mom makes me cringe. Like. 100%

Kestrel she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 There's a step in the right direction.
Allomancy she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 There's a step in the right direction.But I wanted to go left.
Mistrunner Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Behold, The Piano Guys have come up with another amazing cover. Adele's "Hello" mixed with Mozart's "Lacrimosa." Absolutely fabulous. 2
Kaymyth she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 See, Kaymyth, Ookla the Mythical was a very suitable name for me. Sure, just rub it in, why don't ya? Just gave the villain of my WIP all of my mom's crazypants views and then some. It felt awesome. Catharsis is a wonderful thing.
Delightful Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 The first sentence of my mom's blog this week: "Regular readers of this blog may have noticed that I rarely delve into political issues." AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Seriously. She might not do political stuff every week, but she's been remarking on politics pretty frequently lately. So I take it you took your job as editor seriously and took out that line?
RippleGylf she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 You know, there's such a thing as "creative non-fiction" ...yes there is... *mildly groans* Right now in English class we're reading In Cold Blood. The way it's written, it seems like the author is trying to get the reader to sympathize with the murderers, but at the same time shows one of them running over a dog for absolutely no reason. It's not a really good book.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 So I take it you took your job as editor seriously and took out that line? Nope. I've been removing and changing fewer and fewer things from her posts. Obvious errors I'll take out, but things that just don't feel right, I'll leave in.

Edgedancer he/him Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Nope. I've been removing and changing fewer and fewer things from her posts. Obvious errors I'll take out, but things that just don't feel right, I'll leave in. No reason to save her from landing on her own face and get into trouble for it, I figure.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Can I have a link? It's literally her full name, so I don't want to just post it.
Orlion Blight he/him Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 It's literally her full name, so I don't want to just post it. Some people just aren't creative!
