Or was it left out to specifically make it nonCanon? Honestly in my head I can imagine Hoid approaching the WoA purposely while Vin has her moment holding a dying Elend, just to get front row view before dippin lol.

If I didn't remember wrong in the Canon timeline. Hoid find the Well before Vin and when she arrived, He already left.

Blaze1616 he/him Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Which alternate ending? Did the ending come from the teen re-release? I didn't know WoA had an altered ending. Regardless though, if this new ending was in a published source from Tor, yes it's canon. If it's been directly published by Brandon (say, on his site) then you'd have to read the comments made on the post to learn if it's canon. If it's from the MAG, then no it's not canon ONLY IF it does not also appear in the published books from Tor.
WeiryWriter he/him Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I believe they are referring to an unpublished version of the ending that can be found on Brandon's site (originally the Well was going to be up in Terris, but Brandon moved it to Luthadel during revisions). Hoid visiting the Well and taking a bead of lerasium is still canon though, it's been referenced in WoBs.
