SmurfAquamarineBodies he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 (edited) Buy. That's the only thing it could be. Lift will discover Worldhopping so she can travel the worlds and eat their food. Edited May 20, 2014 by CrystalBodies
Ashiok Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Buy (I am posting to get between the spambot junk) We will kill the spambot with FIRE!
Aether he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 We will kill the spambot with FIRE! Sell. Or buy, if by FIRE you mean Admins. Harmony has frequent arguments with Kelsier's Cognitive Shadow.
SmurfAquamarineBodies he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 But. Because that how Kelsier do. Kelsier is the reason Demoux can Worldhop. 2
Left he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Buy. That sounds really cool, and I can almost see it working. Like Kel is giving Demoux a boosst in cognitive ability in exchange for founding his church. Galladon had several drinks before he tried to worldhop for the first time.
Khyrindor he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Buy. Have we seen him drinking though? hmmm. Hoid will die for real at the end of the future Mistborn series.
Left he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Sell. Hoid doesn't die. Hoid doesn't die. Ever. He just kind of moves on.
Khyrindor he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 ehhhh. still think he dies. sell. Wait! Like the Doctor! Hoid is the Doctor!
Shaggai Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 ehhhh. still think he dies. sell. Wait! Like the Doctor! Hoid is the Doctor! Sell. Hoid is much cooler. 1
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Buy. Of course Hoid is much cooler. Computers will be a thing by the modern trilogy, and by the end of the SA, we'll see primitive fabrial-tech counting machines or computer precursors.
Shaggai Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Buy. Of course Hoid is much cooler. Computers will be a thing by the modern trilogy, and by the end of the SA, we'll see primitive fabrial-tech counting machines or computer precursors. Buy. Scadrian computers will use the same stuff as mist-fabrials instead of electricity.
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Sell. Electricity is enough of a thing that I can see their computers going at it. There's magic system in the Cosmere that requires pacifism.
Khyrindor he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 that would be interesting! Buy! The Spaceships will be possible because of Allomantic things, and Breath.
Shaggai Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 that would be interesting! Buy! The Spaceships will be possible because of Allomantic things, and Breath. Sell. Scadrian worldhopping will probably stay rare until they have spaceships. The God Beyond is actually the one remaining chunk of Adonalsium that's still Adonalsium and not an Intent.
Left he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Sell. That doesn't really make sense to me. Doesn't the god beyond appose Adonalsium? Adonalsium was an AI who gained ascension of the shards.
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Sell. That results in a bit of a chicken-and-egg paradox. I'm thinking that Adonalsium is going to have been a Prime Mover in the Cosmere - a standard God-type thing. Until he wasn't, of course.
Left he/him Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Adonalsium was a sentient computer that somehow had all the shards. I don't know. I was just throwing it out there.
Kobold King he/him Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Adonalsium was a sentient computer that somehow had all the shards. I don't know. I was just throwing it out there. That's a really cool idea. I don't think the Liar of Partinel sample chapter implies that kind of advanced technology, however. WoR spoilers One of the Unmade will be destroyed by Nightblood.
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Buy. Oh, buy so much. I want to see Szeth hunting down and killing dark incorporeal gods with a cold green vengeance in his eyes. Szeth has so much potential to be an actual tragic anti-hero, instead of the kinda symapathetic semi-anti-villain he's been so far. His coldblooded slaughterings of evil will balance out Kaladin's heroic slaughtering of evil and Shallan's gritty investigation of evil nicely. Death releases Investiture. This can be trapped and used by things other than Moelach. 2
Khyrindor he/him Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 (edited) That. Was. Awesome. What's Moelach? I'll buy anyway. It seems plausible. Hoid is the one who "convinced" The Scadrians to go into space, because the current, subtle methods weren't working thus far. Edited May 21, 2014 by Khyrindor
Left he/him Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Buy. Moelach is an Unmade. Kind of the Heralds, or something, of Odium. Harmony is going to have to get more involved than he wants to, or should, in the 2nd trilogy.
Swimmingly he/him Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Buy. Elhokar is going to remember with nostalgia his time with the Herdazians, and seek to recapture it after a nervous breakdown by inviting the entire Herdaz community at the warcamps into his palace. 2
Aether he/him Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Elhokar is going to remember with nostalgia his time with the Herdazians, and seek to recapture it after a nervous breakdown by inviting the entire Herdaz community at the warcamps into his palace. Oh a definite buy for that first part (though he might not realise so at first), and a tentative buy for the second one. While the scene you're suggesting is hilarious, I find it ever so slightly unlikely. Elhokar will not become a Radiant, but will end up becoming a good (though not great) king. 1
Baine he/him Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Buy. I think he has great potential. Hoid will accidentally kill a chasmfiend. 1
