damnation me... sorry, while typing I often manage to somehow swap two letters in a word(even as I was typing this I first wrote "sawp"...), I usually stop the errors before posting but sometimes they slip past me. Anyway I edited the post and corrected the error.

@Luckwielder: Nope, same distance.

@Xaladin: Also wrong.

Meanwhile I came up with another line, so I'll add it.

Still wrong.

I'm happy to see this boast resisting so long, but I think I should give an hint: this boast contains two characters, the one making the boast and another one, which is not the "father".

It has to be someone from "Sixth of the Dusk"; the island's name "Patji" means "father," and "the twilight" refers to a person, obviously Dusk.

It's Vathi, good job Dankworth!

She is working for the progress of society looking at those who are more advanced then her(I seek knowledge by looking ahead of me,)

but in the end she learns from the old tradition (but I found the answers in the opposite direction.)

Dusk saves her life form the perils of Patje e teaches her a bit of humility. (The twilight illuminated my hubris and ignorance while saving my life from father.)

And he gives her a feather as a reminder(In remembrance of this I received that which is most light)

and helps her understanding the trap of The Ones Above (and that saved me from the pitfall set over me.)

I thought it would be easier to understand, probably because my previous one was guessed immediately.

I got really lucky. I started "Sixth of the Dusk" this morning, right after guessing Vivenna. I hadn't even gotten to Vathi yet; I just saw "Dusk" and "father," then checked a character list. It was pretty straightforward, but I guess I'm not the only one who hadn't read the story yet.

Alright, my turn. Just to be sure, any Sanderson character is acceptable, regardless of which story they're from and whether or not they're central to the plot, right? Obviously if I use a side character I'll pick one who has a good bit of screen time instead of someone who gets one scene: Zane or Tindwyl as opposed to Vin's sister or Prelan Laird.

Good job on guessing it.

IF you can make it work in a way that people could guess it, you could do basically anything. Vin's sister, for example, would need a lot of work and a discriptive Boast since she doesn't have any lines and the only description we have is from passing thoughts and speculation. If it is the name of a random guard that someone passed while walking into a castle, that would not be bueno. It would take too long to figure out, since they have no character traits. At least with Vin's sister, you have a character that we know a few things about.

Got it, anyone who could be figured out. I've got a lot of homework tonight, so I might not have time to write a boast until tomorrow, but it will be up by early afternoon.
