Through The Living Ketek He/Him/His Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (edited) THERE IS A TOMORROW There is a Tomorrow For there always has been We say we can’t be there And Today’s our prison Of Yesterday, we remember. When bliss was our life We say that we’re burdened By Today’s constant strife. We wake up each Morning. Expecting Tomorrow But its arrival is hindered By Today’s lingering sorrow We’ve lived in Today Feeling curious fear For we can know nothing Until Tomorrow is here. We bathe in nostalgia Of when we were whole But then we grew up And those stories are dull. “All work and no play We'll save that for Later.” But we live in the Now To which we must cater. If there wasn't Tomorrow How did we get to Today For Tomorrow was Now When there was Yesterday There must be Tomorrow. Or else we wouldn’t live on. Either it’s not deserved Yet. Or we’ve been there, it’s gone. But if we’ve been to Tomorrow, Why go back to Today We know all its problems So there isn’t a way Why aren’t we ready? Who decides if we are? If Tomorrow is out there It can’t be too far. When we get to Tomorrow There won’t be any pains. Today will be History And we’ll be free of our Chains. I believe in Tomorrow. And who judges its come. While Today may be stressful Hope makes the pain numb. So we wait for Tomorrow The thing right out of sight While we can’t say we know it. It knows us, it just might. We could lose our dreams We may lose our patience But if one soul remembers We’ll have Tomorrow’s obeisance. There is a Tomorrow I just know it’s true Sometime in my Future I will see it through. Feel free to post poems like this at any Time, or you can make more stanzas for this! @CoderDrag0n8 @Ink and Embers @Kansas Stormcursed @Mist. Edited April 10 by Through The Living Ketek

Kansas Stormcursed he/him Posted April 10 Posted April 10 They say the sun comes out Tomorrow But it's easy to get lost in the weeds We claim that objects always fall down But only until we fall up through the trees One day the dawn might not be seen The sky forever black from blue We don't think this will happen But we can't prove for sure But therein lies the key, the answer We cannot know for sure So know that nature is not easily stopped And trust in the days to turn Tomorrow might never become Today So live like Today is all there is And if Tomorrow comes to pass Then there lies another day in which to live Living for tomorrow is a half-night life Ever waiting for Tomorrow's sun But the sun of Today flares overhead And a better Tomorrow comes from Today 2
Through The Living Ketek He/Him/His Posted April 10 Author Posted April 10 (edited) Hmmmmmm I like it! Aw darn, you've got my name! How can we get there? Do we do what we should? My personal thoughts: Make others see good. For Tomorrow is worthless If we don't ever make it Just get through the Day Or pretend you can take it If you fall get up, Or you might miss the Soon And all your hard work Will be without Boon So look forward to the Morrow As it does for you And when it is ready, It'll pick itself up too. Ink and Embers Any pronouns Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (I don't have anything now but I'll write something and post it tomorrow!! This is super cool!!!)
Through The Living Ketek He/Him/His Posted April 10 Author Posted April 10 Now some may be asking Is there any fine text? When we get to Tomorrow What happens Next? Will it become like Today? Will it all become worse? Is Yesterday gone? Will Tomorrow just hurt? Is there more to be found? Is Tomorrow not it? Can we keep moving forward? Is there an end to all of it? So be wary, be careful, But don't be afraid. For Tomorrow is better And it could be higher grade.
Ink and Embers Any pronouns Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) We talk about Tomorrow Plan too much or not at all Dream of Times that never come Or don't move beyond Today's fall Tomorrow comes too quickly Though Today seems stretched thin And there's only one Tomorrow But it shows the Future in And as for lonely Yesterday It's Often overlooked In search of shiny Futures We neglect what from the Past we took But Yesterday sets foundations And monuments of great design Need planning for Tomorrow And building in Present Time So while Tomorrow is infinity And Yesterday paves the way To get anywhere at all We need to focus on Today Edited April 11 by Ink and Embers Time phrases!

Remember, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow aren't the only words to capitalize, also capitalize time words like Time, Later, Then, Soon, Past, Future, etc.
CoderDrag0n8 He/They Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Tomorrow, Today, Yesterday The 3 days we all know. Any day can be said Within these three. Yesterday's Yesterday. Tomorrow's Tomorrow. Future, Present, Past. After, During, Before "Tomorrow is a mystery Yesterday is history But Today is a gift. And that's why they call it The present." - A Wise Turtle We will never see Tomorrow Never live in Yesterday But we can imagine and predict a Tomorrow We can remember a Yesterday But we will always live in Today. Today will always be where we are. In time. Don't get too caught up in Tomorrow. Predictions only last so long. Don't get too caught up in Yesterday. Memories are in the past. Remember to live in Today. Cause that's where everyone is. Yearning for those in Tomorrow Will only harm those in Today Yearning for those in Yesterday Will only harm the you in Today. If you find someone stuck in Yesterday. Don't stay there too long. Because those stuck in Yesterday Would rather you move along. If you find yourself yearning for Tomorrow. Don't imagine it too long Remember that you of Tomorrow Would rather you stay here for long. You will never know Tomorrow Never live in Yesterday All you can do Is stay in Today.

Through The Living Ketek He/Him/His Posted April 15 Author Posted April 15 On Days like these I find myself Running in reverse. I find myself On Days like these Too weak to even curse On Days like these I find myself Too lazy to rehearse I find myself On Days like these Pondering the universe On Days like these I find myself Ready to disperse I find myself On Days like these Doing the inverse On Days like these I find myself Not ready to traverse I find myself On Days like these Repeating the same verse On Days like these I find myself With no way to reimburse I find myself On Days like these With feelings too diverse On Days like these I find myself With tasks far too adverse I find myself On Days like these Not able to immerse … myself.
