The ShardBowl would be a website where users can randomly generate characters, places, and scenarios from the Cosmere. The community will then discuss and vote on which character or scenario they believe would win in the rolled situations. This might be done as a bracket system or as a single matchup each day or week. Also I would add a random system that you could use as a game to play with friends.

Any comments or ideas before I start making it?

I am currently trying to compile a list of characters, places, and situations before I go into the code.

Also, I have no idea what the best stack would be. I am a Python dev and have little web experience (At least with JS).

Sounds cool! Is it going to be like Metalborn.io?

If it's a fighting simulator of sorts, I think it would be best to add in an element of randomness.

For example, a Shardbearer is almost always going to trump a non-Invested foot soldier with a spear. But it is not a true guarantee, and it would be more interesting to reflect that in the outcome.

Also, if it is done that way, I think a short but flavorful explanatory text of how one beats the other should be written. Such as "The Awakener, though frail is determined, breathing her Biochroma into a azure silk scarf. With a quick wit and a pinch of Fortune, she entangles the Mistborn before they can down their vial of metals, securing victory."

That's my two clips anyway.

Looking through your character list, I think it might be more interesting to leave shards out of it.  They are more like forces of nature, so any non-shard in a fight with them would be completely unfair.

I initially thought of Metalborn.io as well, but it seems like yours takes existing characters and pits them against other characters in random settings and conditions, do I have that correct?  It might be neat to have an expanded Metalborn.io where it is a fully generated character with a chance for different power sets around the cosmere, but that would be even more challenging to put together, so I would not expect that.

Thanks so much for the ideas, I love the idea of making fully generated characters and its definitely somthing I would look into later but for now its just existing characters.

Metalborn.io looks awsome and its definitely now an inspiration for how the site might look, but its probobly going to be just existing characters until I get the logic down, then I make have it make full new ones.

Also I will probobly remove the shards or have a shards mode where is shard vs shard with there people just for fun.
