I don't like you just diverting it. It's attracted to investiture, so it would try to stick to your shield. It worked for dominion becuase they had somewhere to redict it too that attracted the investiture more than the power. Regardless, if you're letting the seed through some of that investiture radation will rain down upon the cognative.

The investiture shouldn't be interfering with the plans of anyone. The seeds might, if you let them, but they're 2 enties, one of which likes to sit in the corner and eat whatever investiture is availble.
