Target's Early Street Date

Hey folks,

If this is the wrong place to post (or if it shouldn't be posted at all) please let me know. But, for what it's worth, Target was given a street date of Dec 5 and WaT is now on shelves nationwide in the US...

I heard that they wont sell it until tomorrow. Their POS system should prevent the sale from going through. At least, thats what my local bookstore is doing.

 

They want to be prepared for the rush tomorrow so have set out the displays, but won't sell until tomorrow.

Well, I can say first hand that at least one sale went through their POS at 12:01 this morning...

I visited two locations that were showing stock. I found the location but it was empty

I can’t say if they were sold or if the books were pulled
