Lots of theories floating around! Cultivation said to seek the power of honor in the SR; I bet somehow Kaladin (or his soul) is a camouflaged and dormant hiding place for that power. I’m probably wrong, but he likely dies and Dalinar picks up the shard that instantly shows up. Like the 2013 Superman with Henry Cavill, when Kal El (Russell Crowe) embedded krypton’s genetic bank into baby Superman then sent him to earth. Superman is krypton, Kaladin is Honor.

Interesting theory, and would fit with similar characters having borne dawnshards while still appearing "normal"? That said, I feel like Kaladin would have drawn upon Honor's power more significantly in WoK when he was in bear constant threat of death if he was the vessel?

I've just started a poll on potential candidates for Honor so feel free to continue the debate there (couldn't see a way to add a poll here) 😊

If he is, it would make his "Honor is dead, but I'll see what I can do." line all the more epic.

According to me, It already is the most epic line, there is! And his first pov chapter was named "Honor is dead"!!

However, I just worry that it is too expected at this moment and therefore may not come to be!

And my friend recently mentioned and I think it makes sense, that Kaladin Holding a shard's power but not able to intervene to help, if it is breaking T'Odium than it will be so much more worse for Kaladin to endure!

I mean they do have a point there! but lets see!

Personally, I have always believed that Son of Tanavast, Kaladin will be Honor.

He's already learning to protect without direct intervention. Imagine a god that is just the best therapist.
