She felt a wave of terror, but it wasn't her own. It seemed other, and distant.

She sat up. That, oddly enough, was a good sign. Her new friend was probably not dead!

Just now, Lunamor said:

Jenny nodded silently. She didn’t want to elaborate in front of the others.

“Oh, oh no!”

Jenny quickly hobbled over to Elsie as fast as she could on wobbling legs. Elsie was crying. Was she hurt or had something bad happened to Terrance? She eventually reached the girl and knelt down next to her.

”Are you ok?”

"I... I'm okay. I'm gonna be right back...." She sprinted away.

She's sprinting in the direction that makes the terror stronger.

Edgar went with her. “I’ll be back,” he said to Jenny, kissing her quickly before he left.

Gauging her options, Elsie decided to grab a large stick just in case. She grabbed it, and continued to sprint.

The one great thing about the feeling of terror was that it produced a heck of a lot of adrenaline.

After just a few minutes, she found him. He was on the ground, shaking. Blood seeped from a wound on his head, though whatever might have caused it was nowhere to be seen.

Edgar grabbed a square of ambrosia, putting it in Terrance’s mouth. “Eat it.”

She gasped, dropping her stick. "No no no no no nonononono." She pulled out her water bottle, and tried her best to clean the wound. Her panic made it look like she was blinking in and out of existence.

He didn't seem like he could, completely unresponsive as tremors surged through his body.

Jenny tried to protest, but Ed and Elsie left too quickly. She made an effort to follow them, but lost sight of the pair rapidly. She sighed and plopped down on the ground, anxious. Having no idea what was going on was a very unpleasant sensation, almost as bad as being too useless to help.

With some difficulty, he took it. The tremors quickly began to subsided, and he looked up at the two of them, seeming dazed. Unfortunately, that meant he met their eyes, which had the expected result.

Elsie just curled up into a ball and sobbed.

Edgar handed him the slightly wet piece of ambrosia. “Eat it.”

Terrance opened a fist, dropping a basilisk fang. It was the same one he had gotten fighting the group of basilisks, used in a desperate moment to save his life. "You came back for me."

He took it and did so, too shocked and dazed to take caution with food given by someone else.

“Yeah, we did. Thank Elsie.” He walked over to the girl and gently laid a hand on her arm. “You’re safe here. Terrance is ok. It’s going to be ok.”

She looked at him with tear filled eyes. "He almost died." She whispered.

Elsie's reactions might seem a bit extreme, but she had to watch both her dad and her grandma die, so...
