Terrance stared forward at the trees in the forest.

Lucid pulls a pebble out from his coat pocket, dropping it on Terrance's head.

Might have required more of a toss, but okay.

Terrance saw his motion and the pebble, then hit it out of the air before it could hit him. He resisted glaring at Lucid, since terror and high places didn't mix well.

He lets out a little chuckle before resting against the main part of the tree.

Edgar felt tiredness creeping up on him. He yawned, then rested his head on Jenny’s. It was surprisingly comfortable like that. He quickly fell asleep. @Lunamor

Terrance was, again, silent.

"Dude, you should go to sleep"

"Me? Well, because they trust me, I hope"

It was dark. This time, Jenny wasn’t running, wasn’t fighting. She was just floating alone. Just her and nothing.

Why do you refuse to listen to me?

A hooded figure suddenly appeared directly in front of her, closer than it had ever been before. The face, however, remained as shadowed as ever, features indistinguishable.

You will hurt them. It is only a matter of time. You can’t control yourself.

”I didn’t-“

You attacked Edgar. You’l do it again. You can’t stop it.

The figure creeped closer until they were face to shadowed face.

You can run, or you can give in. You are refusing to run.

It reached a bony finger in her direction.

It’s only a matter of time.

Jenny tried to jerk backwards, but was unable to move. She couldn’t give in. She wouldn’t give in. She balled up her hands into fists and slammed them below her. Something shattered, and the figure shot upwards. No, she was falling downwards.

Jenny had time to take a single breath before she impacted something hard. It knocked the wind out of her, but she was otherwise unharmed. She managed to stand, and realized she had hit a ground of some sort. Looking around, the place felt familiar, somehow.

Jenny has dream hopped into Edgar’s mind since they’re both sleeping.

Edgar dreamt of Jenny. There was something wrong, he didn’t know what. Has she just…fallen from the sky? He was so confused. He ran to her, wrapping her in his arms. “Are you ok?”

“Ed?”

Had she managed to hop into Ed’s dream? She’d heard of her siblings doing things like this before, but hadn’t attempted anything like it yet. He must’ve been asleep too.

”I’m ok.”

Jenny looked around rapidly, searching for any sign of the figure. She didn’t see anything, although she kept her head on a swivel anyways.

He hugged her tightly. “Good. What’s wrong? What’s happening?” He looked around too, not sure what he was supposed to be looking for.

“It’s the voice, I think.”

Jenny summoned Sword and stepped back. She hoped that she hadn’t brought the figure along with her, put Ed in danger too.

”It wouldn’t leave me alone, but I managed to escape somehow. Coming here was an accident.”

Fortunately, she wasn’t injured in this dream. Her fighting skills were back to normal, although she wasn’t sure how effective they would be against a giant shadow-person.
