Jenny didn’t trust this stranger. He was dodging their questions. That meant he probably had an answer they wouldn’t like.

She pulled Sword just slightly out of its sheath. Jenny needed to be ready to spring into action.

Edgar slowly let go of her. Gift shifted into a small blowgun, and he grabbed the poison. Jenny might need it.

Jenny debated if she should try putting the stranger to sleep. She would probably pass out, and there was a chance she might not succeed. That would leave her vulnerable.

Aaron hears this conversation from in the shelter. Lets take this guy out  He concentrates on the plants in the area first, growing them slowly towards the voice. Try and scare my friends now sending the plants in a frenzy, to grow around the other half blood

He noticed the movement and jumped away from the plants, evading their growth as best he could.

Jenny suddenly realized that her side felt like it was on fire and winced, nearly falling back to the ground. Hopefully she hadn’t done any damage.

Jenny paused. Untrustworthy as the guy might’ve been, there wasn’t much reason to lie to him about something like this.

Jenny was getting fed up with this guy. He wasn’t being very reasonable. He needed to just accept that this was his fault. Prove that he was at least somewhat worthy of trust.
