"I forgive you. You obviously did what you had to do." He kept his back turned.

“Thank you.” She left.

Jacin sat down slowly. "I wonder how much they took...."  he mused aloud.

Freya ran, hiding her tears from her sister. She shouldn’t have gotten attached to him, she’d known it was a mistake. And yet, he was so kind, maybe, somehow, he’d save her. But, of course he wouldn’t, he probably hated her now.

"Meg?" He called for the maid, worry in his voice.

"Here, sir!" She came down the stairs, hands shaking.

"Did they hurt you?" Jacin asked, leading her to a chair and sitting her down.

"No sir. I'm alright, just... shaken." She said.

"That's ok, It's normal. Just sit ad rest for awhile."

"But sir! I have to hep you!" She protested

"No. Your heath is more important." Jacin said firmly.

Freya entered the den of her captors. “We have our payment.”

An old man stood. “Bring it. This will buy you…a week. Bring more before then, or she dies,” he said, pointing to Freya’s sister.

If anyone wants a character to play they can take the sister.

She’s in a nearby building, and she’s forced to get money for a group of people or they’ll kill her sister. He can free them somehow (by helping them run or by eliminating the group)

Freya ducked out of the building, looking around. She needed to find another mark, another person to take from. She needed it. She saw Jacin and paused for a moment, then dashed the opposite direction.

She tried her best to lose him, but she wasn’t fast and she quickly grew light headed. How long has it been since she’d had a full meal?

She cried out as she saw how close he was, stumbling as her foot caught on a cobblestone.

Jacin was hardly breathing hard. He was used to running. "Freya!" He called after her. "Stop running!"

"Freya! Please?"

She turned just slightly. He was a good man. But she had stolen from him. She hesitated a moment longer, then turned away from him. She didn’t run again though.

He slowed and came alongside her.

“You can’t.” She still looked away from him. She didn’t know why she was even talking to him. It was pointless.

"How do you know? You haven't told me anything."

“You can. The best way to do that is to not be around me. She still didn’t look at him, hiding a tear. She wanted a friend so badly, but she wouldn’t hurt him any more than she already had.
