Calev observed Aureole as she seemed to fall silent. 

Something about the sunset...

He felt the flood of the star's magical energy fade as it dipped below the horizon.

Is Roy right? Even if I get enough Starlight, am I stuck here?

His reserves were still relatively low, but steadily rising...

His experience with beings of that nature was fairly limited, but he knew the basics.
