“It’s been a bully who attacked me and left me at the brink of death, it’s been a person who showed me a better way, preventing me from taking my own life, it’s been a friend, it’s been an enemy. It really could mean almost anything. What do you think it means? Or are you unsure?”

The professor concluded the lecture, and the room began to fill with shuffling as students placed notebooks in bags and stood up from desks.

“That works for me, I was thinking just one of the empty classrooms but I’m good with anywhere.”
