"No,"  Eddie said, something in her voice sounding almost...magical.

*giggles excitedly*

"Ah you learn. But not quite fast enough."

The dagger slams pommel first into Eddie's forehead.

My brain: It's okay Lilyana will come save her!!

My brain:

My brain: ...oops

Eddie grits her teeth and reaches up to grab it. "Not this time. You will not destroy me again."

Do you actually want me to go through and make her someone like Eddie but has no memory of the people around her? Or just no memory of the people? And still fairly good ones of her mother?

Fair enough

I leave it up to you to change her appearance and temperament and name if you want. She will get her fire back though or a different element if you want 👀

The air laughed and the wind wrapped her in a cocoon, leaving her in the room. "Sleep well my little butterfly."

As she drifted away, she whispered, “I am not yours.”

The wind just whistled the tune, mother knows best. Drilling it into her head, over and over. Weaving it in-between the new memories.

Eddie felt it, sensed it, and fought it. She’d spent her whole life fighting magic without any of her own; this was nothing knew. She forced her most important memories, Lil, her life without her mother, her first…her first kill, how to shoot, everything her mother had done to her into a tiny part of the back of her mind, safe from the wind. Hidden, perhaps, but there.

Lilyana took this to mean her too and she walked out of the room. A trail of frozen tears shattering behind her.

Aster followed behind, trying to cheer up her friend.

Lilyana just smiled sadly at Aster. "Thanks," she mumbled. "I'm just confused."

"Yeah, I think we should probably go now." Ezrium and Sage walked out of the room, and ran straight into Lilyanna and Aster.

Lilyana looks at them, frozen tears still falling from her eyes.

She raises her hand, half heartedly allowing ice to coat her hand.
