Amyra heard someone else approach too.

She was very apprehensive as she crouched down, another figure coming into view behind Aekalohan.

Blood! Aerie whispered, excited.

My blood, Amyra muttered, a little more nervous than her spren.

Oradin slowly made his way through the chasms. He held his sword in one hand and Quill as a Shardshield in the other. "Supposedly a game maker wants me to prove myself by killing someone," he said. "I guess I'll have to do it then. But something about it doesn't feel right."

Obviously not, Quill said. But what can you do about it now? This way, you make sure she dies without suffering.

Oradin looked out from behind a corner. There was Aekalohan.

Aekalohan was a man of both worlds. A radiant dustbringer, yet a true person at heart. Almost the perfect person. But nothing was ever good enough in his eyes.

The man was quickly alerted by his overly-dramatic spren. "Dude, they're like, right there, like, kill them right, like yeah."

Aekalohan looked up, and saw both of them, but continued scratching at the bottom of the chasm, using Ignis as this fine needle-like blade, to which Ignis objected to.

Dude, like, I should totally be like, a shardblade, like, SPREN AREN'T QUILLS! DUDE THERE ARE PEOPLE! DUDE!

Sadly reality hadn't reached aekalohan yet. It didn't need to. The etchings in the bottom of the chasms did nothing but help prove that. He ignored the warnings and the threats.

The games and the killers.

The people and the things.

The spren and their blades.

The tornado of champions, all fighting for each other, no one of them greater than the last.

He ignored it all.

He didn't need to remember them. These horrid games, these horrid games, they were just beyond proof of that. Aekalohan didn't care.

But should he? Much to the delight of his spren upon hearing that question, he got up, and stared at the ground where he had ben carving.

He drew defiance.

He drew an end to the games.

He drew the hope for the future, and the despair of the past.

Dustbringers were all about improvement, prehaps, but they were all about self improvement.

How could he get better if he didn't care?

But at the same time, how could the world get better if the world didn't care?

Those were all the words he wrote in the hallowed world below the surface of roshar before he was struck down the next moment.

His spren, ignis, fell and landed hilt up in the stone. A deadeye, or a shardblade, was all that remained, shadowing the ominious message written in the slot canyon of the games of despair.

[whoever posts first we'll assume killed him. I'm a big fan of this post as well, but not this character.]

In the dark Rolen steps back from his first kill, Aekalohan. He takes their token, and went to find his allies. Everything is going perfectly.

@Aeoryi is that about what you wanted to happen? I can change it if it’s not.

Take the shardblade, it won't scream until a gem is added.

What's the token?

A vision unfolds before Flylf's eyes. Water on glass. A storm. Two figures fighting, a child cowering behind one of them. A blade in the stone.

Quote

Storms, I was gonna go and get that blade xD

Oh well

A warm blanket.

Rolen grabs the dead blade, surprised that it doesn’t scream at him. Novel didn’t seem to mind, so he decided he’d take it with him too, it would probably come in handy, even if he didn’t specialize with full sized blades.

Amyra retreats quickly back, after Aekalohan's limp body fell on the sand.

Aw, Aerielle complained, You were too late.

It's fine, Amyra snapped, I'll have plenty of time to kill the rest of them.

Anansi stands in front of the nearly empty room. At this hour only a few people and machines are manning the arena.
“There.” He points at the screen as the footage replays. In the dark he can see a bloody body fall.
“Send in the ‘copters.” He waves to someone. An eerie grin links across his face. Someone was dead. Finally.

He brings the microphone up to his lips. His voice very cheery for such an ungodly hour.
“Rise and shine lovelies! The first death of the games has taken place over the course of the night. Rolly Polly congratulations on defeating your opponent! Just a reminder to everyone that you must steal your selected opponents item before time is up. Giddy up!” His voice crackles away back into the early morning silence.

We may be extending the item stealing deadline to 48 hours from yesterday instead because this is so slow paced. Remember YOU DO NOT HAVE TO KILL IN ORDER TO STEAL A ITEM. I was gone over the night so if any other item stealing happened that I didn’t catch please tell me.

Ninddle arrives at the perpendicularity and decides to get some rest hiding behind a boulder. "Javek can you make sure nothing sneaks up on me while I'm sleeping?" Ninddle asks. "sure, you can nap while I do the important stuff." Javek responds.

Ezrium peered eerily at Komadori's so called 'allies'. He debated on the options. He didn't know what to do. He knew that he needed the teams help in order to defeat Kelni and Sharp. He saw them asleep. They had dozed off as soon as night had fallen. Although, he wasn't even sure if they were entirely asleep. One wrong move, he could be dead.

Hey. Can you not double/triple post? It’s not very realistic or respectful to the other people (Especially with a lot of the time zones being super early in the morning) for you to do multiple actions without time for a reaction.

She can also encounter the careers.

Cthaelth scramble s up the chasm wall and glances around her.

She notices, far below her, the careers. Breathing deeply and cursing quietly to her spren, Cthaelth climbs down and begins to move towards them.

"Sage?" Wren whispered. "There's someone here." Sage looks around and spots Cthaelth climbing down towards them.

"Hey!" Sage calls. "Who are you?"

"It appears that you dropped it in your sleep. I had the good fortune to pick it up, incase those who oppose us happened to find where we were located." Ezrium replied. "You seemed so prone to sleep after your feast last night.
