Quote Reams wouldn't know everything, but the necromancer first appeared centuries ago, more powerful than should be possible for a necromancer of his kind. For reasons that are rumored to be related to a prophecy, the necromancer targeted the Akladin family, a bloodline known for their extremely powerful magic As far as most know, he entirely wiped them out, then went on to basically take control of his entire world.
