his grins grows wider. "well then, i suppose you need to remember first" and he disappears and obliterates the remaining skeletons.

She blinks at him, then turns to Yulli. “What a strange person. I wonder who he was.”

“No,” Xiylna said sharply. “He doesn’t have to listen to you. None of them do. There are other ways to live than to kill.”

Xiylna floats back, moving away from him but staying in front of Yulli, even though she doesn’t have a body. “We can-we can-what was I saying? Who are you?”

"You never have to kill. This is true, but only in the partial."

The figure stepped out from the shadows, and the appearance was strange. Very strange.

The figure snapped their fingers, and the arena disappeared, and all of the people were standing on a lone stone column admist a storming sea.

"Let me make an analogy." The Second said, "There is two options here. You can either try to escape, by any means, or you can stay here, for the rest of your life. The answer to this is simple: you must take your chances."

The second snapped their fingers and the arena appeared again, "You can either be the one to make the decision, or you can be the one to fear making a decision. You have to eventually kill, so why not kill now? Because you are afraid of making the decision yourself."

The second floated down, guided by thin strings attached to the sky.

"But what if I told you, that all of these skeleton told me their decision was to fight? Would that make it easier for you?"

“I don’t want to fight them,” Xiylna said slowly. “And they don’t want to either, they just haven’t realized it because no one’s taught them any different. But I can’t let them hurt other people just because they don’t understand. I don’t think Mother would be mad, no, no, she shouldn’t be mad.” Then she sent out a wave of Taint and fire.

Shovel man finishes off the last of the skeletons. "Alright Second. What's next?"

@Aeoryi

A group, resembling the group they were fighting, came out. Each one was a complete reflection of themself.

"This is next."

Xiylna floated over to the other version of herself. “Hello! Why do you want to hurt us?”

Altair sighs. “Great. How am I supposed to kill me?”

“It would be easier to kill yourself,” His doppelgänger replied.

“But you are myself.”

The anti-Altair paused. “Can’t deny that.” They charged at themself.

Altair and Evil Altair were still dueling, evenly matched.

"Our skill levels are equal," Evil Altair said. "You can't beat me."

"Perhaps. But I'm handsomer, don't you think?" This took Evil Altair off guard, and Altair was able to score a hit.

“I think we should be friends,” Xiylna said.

“Oh, yes!” Xiylna 2 agreed. “Friends are good.”

And then, in sync, “Mother says all people should be friends.”
