I noticed in the campaign that there are no statblocks for the Heralds. Yes, I know there is a reason for this- they're just too powerful to conceivably be defeated or meaningfully harmed by the PCs that should currently be present in the game.

However, smart explanations have never gotten in my way before, so now is hardly the time to let that begin.

I'm going to try and build my own statblocks for a Herald, but I'm wondering if anyone else would like to add some ideas. I'm all for hearing them out, especially since I'm very new to the Cosmere RPG and its mechanics.

I got the Stormlight books for the Cosmere RPG (for Christmas) and found a weird thing that I'm not fully following.

Some of the Forms of Power allow you to use Focus or Investiture to fuel them, but it doesn't look like they gain an Investiture score from taking a Form of Power itself?

Also, in the Stonewalkers book the Direform NPC statblock says they can use "Invested Enhancement" to further increase their strength and speed by 1. So, is this just an NPC ability completely off limits to PCs with Direform, or is there an extra feat somewhere or. . .?

One of the notable lore drops in Stonewalkers is the introduction of The Gray Remnant spren. Specifically compared to the Nightwatcher as both being “Legendary unique spren… Both are sapient, powerful demigod-like characters with their own motivations and agendas for the future of Roshar.”

In the adventure, The Gray Remnant is found in ancient tunnels below Rathalas, and provides crucial plot information to the PCs in exchange for giving it a “Painful Secret” to forge a connection to keep the spren connected to the physical world. It’s says that he has slumbered there for thousands of years.

The Gray Remnant is treated to be almost omniscient, able to answer almost any question the party has, particularly relating to the plot, but also about the heralds, specific spren, and the nature of nahel bonds, and surges.

This omniscience led to the Vorin church hiding information related to him, as it falls too close to future-telling. Assumably that censorship was during the hierocracy, but it’s isn’t specified.

an important line is in one of the prescribed answers to likely questions, he (and it does specify that The Gray Remnant uses he/him pronouns) refers to The Nightwatcher as his mother.

Trying to place each RPG chapter with what chapters are happening concurrently in WoR or OB. So far this is what I have come up with:

Chapter 1 has a highstorm occur

 several days before Chapter 2

Chapter 2 starts around WoR I-7 (WoR 34/35 if where placed in book otherwise it might be starting a bit before WoR 63/64 as I can't imagine the PCs visiting the asylum much before Araman does if not after)

spans multiple days to weeks including or after WoR 55 since Amaram is described as leading the Knights Radiant

earliest PCs can leave the warcamps is just after WoR 58 and latest is before WoR 67

Chapter 3 set 20 days after end of Chapter 2

 spans a day or two

Chapter 4 happens around OB 4 because first full cycle of the Everstorm

takes 15 days to reach Karanak (either a second Everstorm happens again or the first is a few days into the 15)

from Karanak to Nigthwatcher's Valley takes multiple weeks (oddly unspecific since we are generally given other travel times down to the day)

Chapter 5 seems to be pre OB 96 as the Eighty's War is ongoing but and Sasemalex Dar is not yet occupied but Nale is helping the Tukari and Singers which points to post OB 121 (really depends on the unspecific travel times from Karanak to Nigthwatcher's Valley and Nightwatcher's Valley to Ashiqqil Keep) (actually probably happens just before Nale goes up to the Purelake in OB 98 after consulting with Ishar)

from Ashiqqil Keep to Sesemalex Dar takes 16 days

a day or two spent in Sesemalex Dar

from Sasemalex Dar to Rall Elorim takes 65 days

Chapter 6 and 7 set possibly between OB and RoW as at least 11 Everstorms have passed

in Rall Elorim for a few days

	Ok... These are new...
We have heard in the songs already about Shadowform but never saw them. It was I believe known its a form of power, but not entirely what exactly they do.
Well here we see. Appearently they were an experiment by Mishra. Bonding with shadowspren, these Regals loose their corporal forms and just become shadows that travel the surfaces. Except their gemhearts, which stay physicly manifested.
But it seems you can sharpen such a gemheart and insert them into you like Hemalurgic spike and the Regals take over your body and you become a complete new form of being. They are kinda half corporeal and can move between cracks, teleport into near shadows, can create shadowclaws and are hard to hit.

	SPOILER TO WIND AND TRUTH!

My main point is... If the spike inducing is something of hemalurgic nature... Than that adds a bit more to it. We already saw gems being used like hemalurgic spikes

but now we know Spren can alter the nature of a hemalurgic spike perhaps. I guess as long as something akin to a soul is in the spike, it can be used that way?

What is going on here? We see her handout a raysium dagger and she can also give out a lesser awakened sword. Is she creating these somehow or are they coming into her possession in some unknown manner? We do know she had Nightblood at some point. Is there a bartering system outside of the regular boon/curse? That seems sufficiently Xisis coded to be dragon related. Otherwise some of these curses seem too tailored to the boon contrary to what we've been told (but that can just be gameplay stuff).

Unless this is somehow one of the daggers we've already seen this seems like a huge loose thread. Where is it post WaT with Nale back on Braize? What further purpose will it have in the narrative?

I’m still very much in the process of going through all the materials that the game just released, but the first big thing to jump out at me was Liss.

This pretty much confirms that Liss is not secretly a Herald, right?

Stonewalkers was advertised as having the players meet three Heralds: Taln, Nale, and Pralla. Vedel, who has been widely theorised in the fandom to be Liss, is not supposed to be present, and yet here Liss is.

By all appearances, Liss is just an ordinary (if fancy and well-equipped) mercenary. She’s given a standard stat block: she’s a Duellist Shardbearer. To me, that says Liss is not going to be revealed as secretly important in the main books, as none of the major characters have official stat blocks.

To sum up: Liss’ only relevance to the main series is that she briefly ‘employed’ Szeth, then later was employed by the Stone Shamans to recover Taln’s Honorblade. And she helped with that mission, a bit.

Which means that Vedel’s whereabouts and activities prior to the end of WaT are still unknown. Tanavast mentions that Vedel ‘became indifferent,’ and Nale lists her as one of the Heralds who grew ‘weaker’ and increasingly struggled to access the Heralds’ ‘blessings.’ Those are the only clues I could find about Vedel’s current state from a quick look.
