I suppose that you could say he has black and red stripes, but they’re described in Sunreach as being red, with black stripes and black spines. Should this be "to destroy Independence" instead? The political parties are usually referred to without 'the' in front of them, unless there's a noun after them, such as "the Independence pilots".
