Applications of the Aon Eto

Phlipz1

Question

My friend and i were discussing the applications of elantrian magic. as i was rereading tha ars arcanum for elantris, i saw the aon eto. for those who dont know, the aon eto is the aon for body flesh and muscle. we know its hypothetically possible to transfer conciousness using either breaths or possibly metalminds, but is it possible to for example create a fully functioning body using the power of aon eto? it would be one empty of a conciousness but if one transfered their conciousness from something else would it be possible to have a new body?

feel free to shut me down brutally if this is completely wrong by the way :D

I think Aon Eto is far more likely to be a healing or physical enhancement Aon than something to create a flesh & blood simulacra. It might be possible though, and would probably require a lot  of modifiers (we don't really know how Aon modifications work). As for moving consciousness, maybe Aon Rao, though it is possible that Aon actually represents Investiture in general rather than "essence" and "spirit".

It seems as though elantrian magic has few strict limitations aside from needing to being an elantrian and knowing the correct aons to use, so this theory technically seems like it would work. I'm just not sure of any specifics.

As an aside, what else could aon eto be used for potentially?

I saw Aon Eto as similar to allomantic pewter and enhancing physical strength.
