sir sprenalot
Say you have a being similar to an Steel Inquisitor on Roshar that forms a bond with a Spren. Could the bond with the Spren replace the need of a Linchpin Spike since the Nahel bond fills in the cracks of someone's spirit web? Second, would that give the Spren "control" of the spiked person? Third, would the Nahel bond prevent someone else from influencing them with emotional allomancy? Assuming I understand the nature of being spiked and all that.
LadyLameness
The Coppermind board isn’t the best place for these questions. I’ve moved this topic to the Cosmere board instead, please just remember this board is ROW spoiler free (including in spoiler tags). Have fun!

Spren would avoid bonding spiked people, an Inquisitor would probably be all but unbondable

Well it isn't impossible for a human to swim through a sewer, doesn't mean any would want to do it.

Will it work Assuming you could somehow someway get a spren to bond, could they act as a spike? In blade form yes, in spren form no, Could they remove the need for a lynchpin? Stormlight healing might keep them alive without it, but if they ever stop holding it they would likely die, And it likely would not protect them from emotional manipulation there would simply be too many holes in their soul.
Honorless
A large enough Cognitive hole would allow a Cognitive or Spiritual being to influence the person, so the spren might be able to influence their emotions. Being the Hemalurgic spike itself would give it a bigger foothold than most Bonds, I imagine. Using a spren as a linchpin spike might mean drawing power from the spike rather than power directly from Ruin to hold the patchwork soul together, that might have some effects. Fezzik
https://wob.coppermind.net/events/450/#e14427 Spoiler Questioner Can Shardblades, dead or alive, be used as Hemalurgic spikes? And if attempted, what would the result be? Brandon Sanderson Technically yes, but in practicality no. To use something as a Hemalurgic spike, it basically just needs to be able to already have a charge of Investiture, or be able to adopt one. Technically, Shardblades are made from a god metal. You could do this. But the Blade is gonna be big and unwieldy, and the form it’s in right now, it’s going to slice the soul rather than rip pieces off. You would have to jump through a bunch of hoops that wouldn’t be worth it in order to use one. It would basically mean that you’d have to separate the metal of the Shardblade from the concept of a Shardblade itself, is what’s going on there.
