I think it kind of describes Brandon that he takes the time to find the perfect swear word for each book/series. There may be other authors who do this, I'm not sure, but, I mean, it's just perfect.

That's all :)

Colors is from Warbreaker, shadows I’m not sure, maybe White Sand. Rust and Ruin is from Mistborn era 2.

Ah, figured it was that or White Sand. I haven’t read Shadows of Silence in a while though, so I wasn’t sure.

Just some specifics:

In MB era 2, the Nicki Savage article in the New Ascendancy Broadsheet: "shadows, woman!"

https://coppermind.net/w/images/New_Ascendancy_broadsheet.jpg

Nazh also uses it in communication to Khriss iirc

There's also the more obscure ones:

Almighty Above!

Ash's Eyes!

Kalak's Breath!

One of the Ten Fools!

Harmony's Forearms! (lol)

Preservation protect us!

Ruination!

I feel proud that I didn’t need to look it up to know that the Almighty’s tenth name is Elithanathile

Kalad's Phantoms!

And then there was that one scene in warbreaker when Lightsong and Blushweaver discussed using their own names along with pronouns referring to them as curses.
