Potato's Wit
Yay! This is here! *Tears up*. Now I can complain about all the dumb kids I met in 6th grade...
That1Cellist
Many of those kids may be dumb and annoying, but as homeschoolers, let us not stoop to their level. Let us be empathetic, understanding, and loving. Even if they may be really annoying.
Potato's Wit
But all I want to do is point out that it's really, really, stupid to throw you water bottle down the stairs from the 3rd floor... That's not stooping to their level. That's just saying they are going to kill someone doing that. Right?
Rabbit Unmade
That was a bad idea. 1. Dangerous 2. Ruined water bottle
Potato's Wit
Actually, the water bottle just got dented. (At least the time I saw it.) Kids also threw their binders and backpacks down the stairs. *sighs and shakes head.*
Rabbit Unmade
How many kids?
Potato's Wit
At least five per day. (Actually per the ending of the school day, when everyone is leaving. Stuff is probably thrown down there a lot.)
The Halcyon Girl
Statistically, going off charts I made up, homeschoolers are 90% more likely to become authors.

solarcat
My parents might make me be homeschooled. I actually don't mind that idea; I'm currently in High School (public school) and it kind of sucks. How good is homeschooling in your opinions? I'm very socially awkward, though, so it might be a different experience for you.

Because you're just panicking the whole time like I was when I was public schooled?

My parents want to homeschool me for religious reasons though.

Shining Silhouette
I go to a public school with only 73 kids in my grade. I'm still really surprised that there are so many shaders that are homeschooled, I've never met someone who was homeschooled irl

You don't have to wait for other people to catch up and it's so nice! 11 minutes ago, CalanoCorvus said: i go to public school- ok well.. not really. it's a charter school, with only 89 kids in my grade, all of which i could carry a conversation with bc i know them. soo i kind of know how you guys feel being able to get more done?? but it's also still a school with other kids so I get together with my best friend and we do school together sometimes. Just because we don't go to public school doesn't mean we don't interact with people; we just meet less people who we don't want to meet.

That must be nice, there is over 2000+ kids at my school as all schools in town are overcrowded. It's why I like going to the college for classes. It's peaceful and with people who want to learn.

Plus homeschooling doesn't usually have clubs, I like the D&D club at my school.

I guess that's true, but I've never had an urge to join a club before, except the ones I make with my cousins, so I don't really care. I feel like sacrificing that is worth all of the positive things.
The Wandering Wizard
The only clubs I really care about at my school is the D&D club and the archery team club, as archery is a club sport not a high school sport, for some strange reason.

I tried archery once. I know how to hold the bow, and that I'm terrible aim!
