Hello everyone! I'v been reading Sanderson's work for years and am tremendously excited to see everyones interpretations and future theories! Hope to get to know you all well.  :) ps the stick will end up ruling the cosmere!!

Hello and welcome to the chaos Shard!

I do say, you make a fair argument about the stick ruling the Cosmere and it surprises me that I haven't thought of it yet. I really can't disagree with you, because I don't think that I have enough arguments to stand against yours, lol.

On a more serious note, what would you say your favorite Cosmere character is? While were on that note, favorite book so far?

The two tough ones right off the bat.. I think kaladin is my favorite on an emotional level. I connect deeply with certain struggles he faces and his ark actually helped me tremendously in real life. Sebarial is the character I can't wait to see randomly eating grapes and drinking wine while the first Everstorm rages and zeth is flinging people into space! I love his we're all a bunch of idiots, doing idiot things, so I might as well enjoy my self and and poke the bear! And his relationship with his not wife mirrors my own with my wife so well she has read most of his work now too!! Haha

Of Brandon's books so far id say Oath Bringer stands out most but sixth of the dusk i liked very much too. But the battle of Thaylen field was just IT! The way he brought fourth Dalinar's struggle against himself and Odium, kaladins being right there but unable to believe enough to swear the oath, Jasnah's love for Renarin, it was just shock and awe the entire time for me.

He does such an amazing job of bringing as many sides and aspects of real life into his books as possible. I like to say he practices cubism of ideas because you never see just one side. Thoughts are as dimensional as objects and he shows that well.

I'm so excited to have people to discuss this with!

Where do your favorites land?

Probably my favorite characters are Shallan, Vin, Lightsong, and Siri. I really can't choose one when it comes to these types of things, lol. My favorite Cosmere books would either be Words of Radiance, Hero of Ages (that ending was perfect), or Warbreaker (whose ending had me almost broken). I also like Oathbringer, because it had a lot of good lessons and amazing quotes that I use frequently.
