Oh yeah, I remember my original reason for voting Devotary. It was the vote tally when Connie flipped elim. I have a hard time believing that zero elims voted that day. Although it’s becoming a bit clear that the elim team is maintaining a pretty low profile in the thread, so it could be possible.

Okay, based on the action claims, Lotus has contributed 1 defense and has a whole bunch of missing actions.
Books has a lot of missing actions, but is soft village because of the Shadowblaze.
Burnt has claimed to have failed several actions, and defended only once.
Random Bystander had defended once, and has forgotten or not claimed many actions.
Mist has yet to contribute to camp defense, but only has 1 unaccounted for action.
Devotary has claimed 5 failed actions, didn’t claim for last night. Also has yet to defend.

I guess I’d give a soft village pass to Mist from this, in combination with her frustrated reaction to my prodding last cycle.

In regards to the elim team profile, I think that the two cycles where we grinched elims strongly suggest a very low thread (and possibly low action) presence for their team. More active elims could almost certainly have averted the Connie train. Also, the lack of a concerted push against me following Striker’s village flip reads the same to me. I think Lotus, Burnt, and Devotary all fit this profile pretty well, and am fine with a grinch on any of them. But probably prefer in the order I gave.

I stand by the actions kas has for me there yes. I'll prob keep him up to date with what I do from here on out too. Im not being useful as far as reads and stuff but to me he reads good but that might just be he's the main one I've interacted with in the pms

  • Gears, why do you Village read Burnt?

I genuinely don't recall doing this, but that could just be my terrible memory. As of now, she's a comfortable null with vague confusion. I remember nothing of what they've done and don't really remember what she's said. I would not be opposed to their X. However, I have an instinctive distrust of Lotus that is absent for Bubbles. [Future Gears here, just realised I switched pronouns for the same person in the same paragraph. Is that weird?]

My guess why he'd have read me village early on  was cause I didn't want gearling getting deadified c1 when it was being him and matrim (idk they gave me good vibes at the time). So probably meant for a few cycles there was residual "oh burnt must be good, she didn't want me dead!" but then I also gone and done little since so makes sense to me

[OOC: Given the nature of work this week, it is likely I won't be able to say much beyond brief/final vote changes tomorrow morning. I've completed my re-analysis and ended up with a whole lotta nuttin', so I'm gonna just leave what I have here and do my best.

First, on a pure actions analysis level, I think there are several groups of people to look at:

1. Who is generally low on chalk throughout this game?

If we are correct in surmising that there seems to be a dearth of LoVs/LoSs employed (why not Vigor Gears, for instance, since he has Making+? @Araris Valerian, for that matter, why haven't you been doing Making+ scans?), then one answer might be that our Forgotten are scarce on chalk. Using D6 as the cut-off:

In this pool, we have: Lotus (recorded as collecting 1 Chalk throughout the game, leaving her with a maximum of 2 Chalk), Mist (also recorded as collecting 1 Chalk throughout the game, leaving her with a maximum of 2 Chalk), Devo (recorded as collecting Chalk successfully on Night 2, leaving her with a maximum of 2 Chalk until D6), Books, who is also recorded as collecting 1 Chalk successfully throughout the game, and Araris, who has basically never collected Chalk, and therefore was dead out of chalk after Warding Night 2.

2. Who did not submit a verified action D3?

Here is one theory: the Connie grinch was permitted, rather than a bus. By the time Striker and Devo sealed it, it was a done deal. I think it's worth looking at non-verified action claims in that period, as Evil players may have wanted to leave open the possibility of vote manipulation.

This gives us: Lotus, BooksBurntArarisDevo, and Mist. Okay, the same crew. A bit less helpful. I'm not going to pull the same line of reasoning for TUO as I think TUO's grinch has a bigger chance of being a bus.

Shifting gears for a bit:

Rithmatist Squad, Assemble!

To recap, I am moderately certain that those on this list are Villagers.

Spoiler

Archer: Convincing Non-Rithmatist claim, in my view, as I've mentioned previously. I also think given the actions economy, unless an Evil player was hiding a Revocation+ specialisation, since the only one Archer handed out was to Striker, there's a decent chance the Shadowblaze died with Ash, meaning Archer is more or less Team Rithmatist. I'm not going to be dead certain about this as it's still possible, but again - worth keeping an eye out for Archer's NR ability.

Gears: My reasons haven't changed, but I can be more open about them. Evil Gears has no reason to pass me the Clock, basically. Easy to make the Clock disappear. Also, agreed about the speed of TUO's reaction to a vote train on Gears - this gives me decent credence that Gears is Village.

(Hey I Just Met You, And This Is Crazy, Here's My Reads List) Rithmatists Maybe?:

To recap, I am weakly confident that those on this list are Villagers.

Spoiler

Books: If the point about the impoverished actions economy of Team Evil is correct, this increases my credence in Village!Books, because of the Defense that Night. For Team Evil to be messing with the Defense, we'd need them to be more active with chalk than they'd previously been. Otherwise, as I've said before - did not need to PM me to tell they'd be passing the Shadowblaze to me, and the altercation with Ventyl makes less sense for an Evil player. Assuming I'm a moderate target, Books also knew I was vulnerable and not using a LoF last Night. And if teammates with TUO, had no reason to claim LoW to TJ in a PM - this could have given TUO a bit more of a defense, given that one of the sticking points on D3 for TUO was that Warding was more important than Maps, which at least sounds more Village than "I forgot" after getting flak for not using the Map.

Araris: Here's the thing. Some of Araris's votes are sketch. Araris looks a bit suspicious for parking on Gears D1 - in contrast, the players who moved votes around a lot are a bit less sketch because hey, it seems like all the main vote trains were Villagers (Mat, Danex, and Gears.) Evil players have less reason to participate in that. Not to mention his late switch from Striker to TUO and that post I kept complaining about. But overall, I actually find Araris's voting patterns to be more Village than Evil - Evil Araris is known for busing, Village Araris (as he did in LG68) has been known to stick to his guns instead of hopping onto the big vote train forming on an Evil player. Which is basically what happened with Connie (then he goes and votes TUO D4...) With D4 though, I definitely agree that Evil Araris would've been better off voting TUO than Striker, so I don't really know what to make of it.

Araris has some sketch actions too: C3 and D4 are failed and forgotten actions, respectively. I feel as though Araris's investment in Warding C2 could definitely be to buy Village goodwill but I find it strange that the team would encourage TUO to do it too, almost. And ultimately, when they should be facing an actions crunch, giving the Lantern and being scanned as taking an acid bucket and claiming to have used it makes a bit less sense for Evil Araris, in my view. Gears has scanned Araris twice now, with Making+. I don't know if I'm really dead certain on Araris - my current read is weak Village because at some point, where's the deepwolf payoff?

I am just deeply confused about everyone else, and to be fair, probably Araris, though some of it might be the fact it's almost 3.30AM right now.

  • Mist: I feel like the amount of craps she gives is not consistent with an Evil player, who would probably be trying to ingratiate more with Village at this stage. At the same time, she has been backtracking on the RNGesus issue, and this could in part be due to the need to help the team. Just not sure, really. Early actions are Bribe heavy which could be an Evil player trying to stockpile voting firepower. Votes have also been generally static and disengaged, which can be a bad sign. Edited to add: Someone with a crab may want to scan Mist I guess. If we can verify she's picked up those items, she probably hasn't been putting in NKs.

  • Lotus: The vote on Archer D2 post-NR claim definitely makes me think she's not paying much attention to the game (I think she mentioned something about mobile), but the vote on Devo is either a player trying to engage with the game, or performative. (Yet, Evil Lotus would be better served just going for TUO...) Also defended the camp once N4. Significant number of forgotten actions.

  • Randby: Clearly lurking, responsive (partly) to callouts, which might be an Evil indicator, or just a new player being new. Low participation in voting.

  • Burnt: Reasons mentioned before and a bit of gut, but Burnt also seems disconnected and generally behind on thread events, and I wonder if Evil Burnt would really be playing catch-up this much.

  • Devo: I feel like it's hard to read Devo, though going back over the votes, I notice Devo has sealed the grinch on every single day except D1 (where Devo didn't want a Danex grinch for arguably personal reasons), and D2 when there was the huge 'let's try to tie the vote' thing, and even then she voted on Mat. It's admittedly a bit safe, and makes me a little suspicious. As mentioned, actions seem consistent with Evil and Village.

God, I'm tired. I'll get back on tomorrow and decide, I guess.]

Quote

The swirling portal dropped Daughter of the Prime Forest ten feet into the air. In the brief moments as she fell, she noticed the strange circle of-was that chalk?

As soon as her feet touched the ground, small plants began to nudge up from the ground below her. With a mental push she shoved the plants away, though a few continued to twine around her feet. Where was she? She had been walking through the village, on the way to lecture the children...

Hmm. That portal had the stench of the Mad God all over it. She cocked her head, focusing. Yes, he was here. Was this an illusion? No, she had gotten good at sensing his tricks over the past few years. This was no illusion.

She set off through the arrangement of tents and tarps, noticing as she did so that people were staring at her oddly.

It did seem that they wore very different clothes than she did. She would have to find some to match.

Daughter was pretending to examine a piece of chalk at a stand when his voice came behind her.

“Salutations, Daughter of the Prime Forest,” Daughter grimaced with his tone. The Mad god's power was unatural. “I welcome you to this land and to this realm.”

She turned to see him standing there, already clothed in the native style.

“What brings you here?”

"I think a better question is why you brought us here. That portal had the stench of the Mad God all over it."

The plants began to writhe slowly, splitting and spiralling as the mad chalk dust began to integrate. Perfect. He took notes surreptitiously and waited for the Daughter of the Prime Forest to notice.

Daughter let herself be pulled along to the dance. There was no use protesting when the Servant of the Mad god was involved. Reluctantly, at her urging, she let the plants creep up beneath them. The dance floor was soon covered in small purple flowers, reaching up to wrap themselves around her bare feet wherever she stepped.

"Why is there so much chalk here," she murmured. It was so unusual.

There was something... wrong about that chalk. It tickled at her senses, but it wasn't until the plants around her began to climb further and further up her legs, the flowers blooming in all sorts of patterns that she finally realized.

"Servant of the Mad God. If you really want to do experiments on plants, you should perhaps do some on ones that are not under my power as well? You'll get confounding results there."

He laughed and dismissed the plants, reducing them to tattered plant shreds and dust. Then he took more notes. Fascinating. Chalk dust could infect plant life. Could it affect animals? Humans? He had to know.

"I do not think that Life would approve much of that..." She trailed off as she saw a man in a deep blue uniform standing near one of the stands, watching the, with a grim expression.

"What in the fifty isles do you think you're doing? By chalks we've got a war to fight, we can't be dancing to defeat the chalklings!"

Daughter of the Prime Forest listened with interest as the man berated them.

Did he know who he was speaking to? Even the youngest First of the Last knew to listen when she spoke. She was a demigod, immortal and eternal. The Servant of the Mad god seemed to be going along with it, however, though he was fiddling with a small glass marble in which a miniature globe was trapped inside.

The man was yammering on about something called the Forgotten, at which point the Servant of the Mad god tossed his marble up into the air and gave a cool smile.

"I'm a forgotten, you know." He said with a smile and a wink, "they're always forgetting me. I swear Daughter of the Prime Forest would forget me if I didn't keep reminding her."

The man sat there, slowly blinking.

"What's wrong with him?"

"Probably in shock."

Daughter took the opportunity to slip out of the tent. "We need to blend in."

"Sure."

She gave him a serious look.

Anyway this was the RP I was going to post end of last cycle:

___

Daughter of the Prime Forest didn't know why chalk was important, but for whatever reason, she could do things with it. Put her will onto a drawing and make it come alive. She spent most of the night awake, sketching small creatures and watching in fascination as they came alive.

Perhaps this world wasn't too bad after all, but she still wanted to find a way to return home. No one had questioned her as she had intergrated into the camp, trying to fake more than she knew. It didn't always work, but there were enough people that nobody noticed her questions.

She had long grown used to the rather... unpleasant experiment that the Servant of the Mad God played, and she ignored him, for the most part, except for the occasional glance walking across from one another. They had an unspoken agreement to ignore the other, for now.

Burnt has had a rough time with items like me. PM reasons early with Gears, liked Matrim and didn't want him to die D1 but didn't notice D2. Skipped over the the D3 and D4 exes as well. Most notable thing is going after Striker, first by saying Striker and Mist are worth looking into after Order flipped elim, then by voting Striker the next day. Suggested there was reason for village Striker to be left alone but wanted to resolve her suspicion. I don't have any PMs with Burnt but apparently those have been happening to some extent. Claimed Warding+ line the night Books had the Shadowblaze which I'm pretty sure means Books and Burnt aren't both evil since they would have needed not to submit a kill that night if that was true.

Books votes Mist D6 jumping off Araris after voting Araris D5. Unclear if Books no longer suspected Araris at this point or just thought his reasoning on Mist was good. Forgets to do actions and claims so preemptively. Their D5 list of claimed actions matches up with Kas's spreadsheet, probably because Kas used Books' list to make it. Voted Order late D4, didn't think the evidence for Order, Gears, or Striker was that strong. Didn't understand the Shadowblaze rules when they came up D4 but learned them at some point. Wanted a tie D2 without caring much about Illwei v. Matrim. Was involved in book coordination D1 and got vigor+, hasn't claimed to use it.

Can't really tell the difference between going for an item and failing, forgetting to submit an action, and submitting the night kill. They seem to be fairly individual/rogue elements until recently. Both seem to be in the unconcerned in the beginning->absent when elims were getting exed->started getting more involved and coordinating D5 and beyond category.

I'll only be around for the next ~forty minutes, so might as well put in an early vote. Books and Burnt aren't the worst votes but of the three, I'll vote for Lotus.

Daughter of the prime forest stalked through the camp, letting the plants around her grow, spreading their leaves to the sky. She was so tired. So tired of being here, in this godless world, with this constant buzzing in her head. People with lanterns were coming nearer, and she slipped behind one of the tents, watching them pass. She let out a deep breath. She needed to find the Servant of the Mad god… hopefully he would be able to get her out of here… The voices returned, coming closer, closer…

And then they were upon here, with those horrible clocks and horrible torches.

The mob grabbed her, dragging her away, but as they did so, Daughter began to hear a distant sound, almost imperceptible. It was the whispers of dreams as one slipped off to sleep. The terror of waking in the middle of the night covered in cold sweat. The evil thing inside of her tried to fight back, nearly grabbing a Gun. However, the mob was too fast, and didn't let her have it. It shrieked in rage, as the crowd quickly eradicated the Forgotten among them.

The rest of her consciousness pulled away just as the portal opened up below her and she fell, spinning through the void. She landed with a soft thump on the grassy field in the middle of The Village, before standing up and dusting the chalk dust off her. The grass twisted around her legs, glad to have her back. [OOC: Araris claimed he went for the gun. Either that's some serious-chull busing right there, or he's Village.

Edit: Oh, and Burnt claimed she laid down some acid. So we just need one LoW tonight.]

The Servant of the Mad God stood above the corpse of the Daughter of the Prime Forest, laughing as he let the irony of the situation whisper at the Forest that she had commanded. Life's own Child, devoted to the taking. Her bones would feed the Forest she called home, her heart would beat eternally within the Immortal Machine, and her eyes would be left for the crows, as was befitting of a traitor. Ignorance was no excuse. She was the mad one here, thinking that a new world and a spot of possession was all that it took to escape the binding oaths of the realm before. She had pledged herself to Life, and she thought she could escape the chains that bound her. Pure folly. She was bold, she was brave, and she was dead. He was clever, he was mad, and he was alive. It had won this round of the nonsense game they played, and she was returned to their world. Splendid. A chance to act without her interference. A rare thing, a precious thing, and one it would cherish.

"May fortune follow in your footsteps," he whispered to her corpse in a mockery of a blessing. "May the wolves nip at your heels. May Death deny you your final rest." She had gambled, and she had lost. Now she was unworthy of consideration. He walked away, letting the trees take her bones. He would see and banter with another Daughter of the Prime Forest, a slightly different one with less blood on her hands, but it would not be the same. He did not want it to be the same. She was gone, and he remained, and theirs was a bond that no replacement could ever fulfill. He expected the same from her when he embraced Death with open arms.

Farewell, he thought but did not say. I will never see you again.

I predict 1 more, though we should promote caution and assume 2. The pool of evil remains much the same: Bubbles, Devotary, Ruby, Mist. I'll do an iso of them later [no school!] unless I get distracted again.

It seems that many people took Rainbow Chalk. Understandable. I don't understand why Ruby wanted the Book of Silencing. That one seems useless to the village. Noted.

Good night, I'll iso them in the morning, perhaps.

Another Forgotten.

Duncan exhaled and stared out into the darkness. He had felt dread, as the court-martial approached. Evan, insisting he would go for the gun. Distrust of Elysian. And there was the fear, festering like parasites in his gut. The fear that was a cold wyrm of dread, curled about his heart, whispering in what sounded eerily like Wyatt's voice: you were wrong once. You were wrong about Wyatt, do you really think you'd know the difference between a Rithmatist and a Forgotten anymore, Duncan?

One of them resigned, one of them stubborn. Duncan had feared. He had feared Elysian was rushing to his death. He had feared that with Evan and Elysian butting heads, all the camp would lose was one of two good men. Maybe more, if the court-martial went poorly. He had feared he was wrong about Elysian. Everything reasonable told Duncan Elysian was just another soldier—just another Rithmatist, but he'd thought the same of Wyatt, too. He'd believed. And Wyatt had taken that trust and had twisted it. Had used it to get Duncan to help him kill his way through the platoon, and even now, Duncan didn't think he could ever feel the weight of his sins lift from his soul.

The Daughter had been Forgotten. Duncan had not expected that. He had an uneasy feeling, but he had not dared to trust himself. Not since the quiet reader had turned out to be a fellow Rithmatist. Not since Matt. Not since Aaron, or Roddy, or Rlint, or Dig, or—

The dead were legion, and the past night, Duncan had dreamed.

Of when it had been better. Of reveille, at dawn. Splashing cold water on his face, and then hurrying to tug his boots on and neaten his uniform. Reporting to his place in the squad, as Wyatt nudged and cajoled various squad members into place, ready for Kingswright's inspection. Kessen a quiet presence behind him, with a few muttered complaints about what JoSeun had done to his native Britannia.

"Oi!" Wyatt called out. "Pipe down, Kessen!"

It subsided to disgruntled muttering, before Kessen faded back into the background. "Dig," Dig said. "Dig a hole." It was his mantra, and Duncan had yet to decide if it was meant for reassurance, or if it was something Dig held to, in the face of the cold desolation of Nebrask.

Everybody lived. No one died.

Dig, fallen into the hole that had become his grave. The crunch of the shovel on bone.

Dig nudged him. "Dig," he said, gravely. But he smiled, and Duncan couldn't help but smile, too.

Duncan felt the prickle of unshed tears in his eyes as he woke up, and held to those gossamer-thin shreds of a dream. He wanted it to be real, so badly. Wanted to wake up in his bunk on Nebrask, that first tour, to find his squad still alive, his platoon still intact. To laugh with those men and women again. To find it had all only been a terrible dream.

He didn't know what it was like not to startle at shadows. Not to question his own head, or the enemy that lurked within his own head.

Wyatt was always there, even when Duncan drank. His whispers crawled beneath Duncan's skull, and Duncan didn't know if he'd ever be rid of him.

Everybody's wrong, whispered that cold, cold wyrm. Even you.

After all, you're only human.

Duncan knelt in the dark, shaking.

Finally, he sucked a little moisture into his dry mouth, and began to chalk out the beginnings of the Taylor Defense. It was tempting to go Blad, with unconventional Lines of Warding, but Duncan thought this was a night for Lines of Forbiddance instead.

Everybody's wrong.

He set the firm, unyielding strokes of chalk against the whispers, and drew.

And another one gone! Another one bites the dust!

Grace glared at everyone who passed. I don't even have a clue anymore. Who could be a forgotten? She sighed, and started searching for evidence. She worked for hours, but found nothing. She returned to her tent to sleep, but kept one eye open.

[OOC: Quick items analysis: looks like Lotus had one Crab on her, and three Chalk. She might have started with one, and we know she picked up one during D5 since it was publicly announced. Other items were most likely claimed at Night but not used. Personal speculation: she picked the Crab up earlier or N5, which is around the time the Shadowblaze came into play, to try to scan for where the Shadowblaze went to. Doesn't seem to have been used, though. Again - what has she (or the Forgotten in general) been doing with their actions?

There's no sense in being quiet during the Night - the basic level of analysis still needs to be done, even if we're left with the prospect of low-info lynches ahead.

Moderate Village Trusts

Spoiler

Gears: Reasons stated several times over, but once again to reiterate - the speed at which TUO jumped on the Gears train more or less insures this, in my view. Also, handed the clock over when Evil Gears could have made it disappear.

Araris: Weaker read than Gears, largely based off the fact that voting patterns and actions (e.g. handing Lantern) are consistent with Village Araris. I also can't see Evil Araris going for the gun when it'd give a 50-50 shot at killing himself rather than Lotus - that's a bad trade for an Evil team. Also passed up several clear-cut busing opportunities where Connie, Lotus, and TUO were concerned. Nothing is completely certain, especially with a player as formidable as Araris, but my personal read at this point is that he's either running the weirdest deepwolf game I've ever seen, or he's Village. Preference Village.

Archer: Non-Rithmatist. I do think the Shadowblaze has gone byebye, but we should also see if we can get confirmation that Archer's Teaching ability has remained intact on N8. Given the potential for conversion, I would say trust but verify, and do not sheep Archer (though quite frankly, you shouldn't be sheeping any likely Villager anyway.) In my view, if we can confirm via Books [ @Flyingbooks] that Archer actually taught a specialisation N6, then we know Archer was Village all the way through N6 [ @Sart, can confirm my reasoning on the OoA?] because Teaching comes dead last on OoA, after Giving. If so, the first opportunity for the Shadowblaze to have been handed over would be Day Seven - and the only two players unaccounted for (theoretically, anyway) are DJ Burnt and Mist. The former claims to have dropped sick acid beats, and the latter claims to have forgotten to take an action. Again, trust but verify - and akan datang.

Books: One of my weaker reads. I feel as though the point about Books allowing TUO to benefit from a Line of Warding claim still stands, but Books has had some very eclectic voting patterns. At the same time, Devo's point about having a hard time seeing why Evil Books would do an altercation with Ventyl, much less PM me about handing me the Shadowblaze if they intended to report it stolen and yeet it at Archer makes sense. And Books knew I was not doing a LoF last night, so I take that to be weak but additional basis for trust. Overall, I'd say that I'm happy to re-evaluate this tier in general if need be (that's just good practice), but Books would be my weakest of the moderate trusts. Heck, this tier is actually more or less in order.

Weak Village Trusts

Spoiler

Randby: Excellent taste in music. Also, I feel that it'd be strange for TUO's teammate to put in a Map order but not TUO. They had Lotus and Connie - what was so important that they couldn't take the kill while TUO used the map? And given Randby is newer than TUO, I'd argue that Randby could have shaken off suspicion for not using their Map much easier than TUO, allowing TUO to claim their Map use instead, assuming there's some reason TUO didn't want to put in the Map order beyond denying us extra resources.

Mist: As I mentioned, Mist has started the game remarkably indifferent to/reluctant to curry favour with the Village, which is a strange position for an Evil player to occupy. I would be willing to revise this judgement as Mist has become quite a bit more engaged (though it feels like punishing her for getting more involved with the game....) She did use one of the maps on N6, where I would argue the Evil team should have been more pressed for actions, though I feel that's mild Village cred, really.

Nulls

Spoiler

Burnt: In a nutshell, my gut kind of wants to Village read Burnt for being so generally lost when it comes to the game. I feel as though Evil Burnt would be tracking a bit better. Definitely has a few missing/unaccountable actions, with the strongest Village things Burnt did being the N5 Warding+, and D7 acid drop. I still harbour distrust over the Striker PM, though I acknowledge that's based on my thought that it felt like she was trying to trigger my paranoia (and Burnt definitely knows how bad my paranoia can get :P ) Burnt also claimed N6 LoF, which is something that I read both ways - on the one hand, Araris has pointed out in a PM about my LoF that LoFs can definitely be a more palatable disguise for other actions. At the same time, I feel as though Burnt's reasoning - that the Forgotten would probably go after her because she's a low info kill - is actually consistent with a Villager who hasn't been paying much attention to the game, since our current problem is low-info lynches, so kills are more likely to be directed at trusts rather than nulls/suspicions since that thins the field. (Unless, of course, this is Burnt speaking from knowledge that the Forgotten are lurking in higher trust tiers... ;) )

Devo: Same problem for Devo: I feel her actions are both Village and Evil consistent. I most strongly read as Village her offer to RB Striker (which she did do) and Lotus (which she offered but I said it was fine) - Devo has bused before, but I feel like burning chalk on a RB is weird. Then again if they were teammates, Devo could easily just keep the chalk and Lotus not put in an action, which would look somewhat the same. I'm a bit uneasy about Lotus's D4 poke vote on her as Lotus seems to have a habit of using distancing votes on teammates. Hard to read off Devo's voting pattern as she usually votes late.

I stress the tiers and reads should and can be kept fluid. I will continue to think about these things through to tomorrow.]

Duncan saw the Forgotten coming. Of course they were coming for him. He had led the remainder of this camp, and now they wanted to topple the figurehead. It made perfect sense. He took a deep breath. Wyatt whispered in his ear, "You knew this was coming." Duncan shook the hallucination off. If this was the night he was to die, so be it.

The town woke to a battlefield. The remnants of an epic Rithmatic duel were chalked into the earth. Unfortunately, Duncan Kerr had lost his final bout. And now his watch was ended.

Kasimir has died. He was a Rithmatist.
