Adolin & Maya, realmatic process for bringing back deadeyes

I don't believe bonds can be broken after reaching the fifth ideal without killing the spren. If the Radiant dies while keeping their oaths the spren doesn't die. But if they break their oaths you get a dead eye. We also have no idea how close the bond becomes at the fifth ideal. For all we know the spren can read the radiants mind.

Some WoB pertinent to the spren bond subject:

(both sides must agree to break the bond in order for it to be broken safely. Even then it is dicey)

Overlord Jebus

Can a spren willingly break their bond anytime between the First and Fifth Oath, with their Radiant?

Brandon Sanderson

Yes, this is possible--

Overlord Jebus

Essentially committing suicide isn't it though--

Brandon Sanderson

I just ascribe to that question-- A spren could at any point break it. Can they break it safely? That's a different question.

Overlord Jebus

Can they break it safely? *laughs*

Brandon Sanderson

There are methods in place where it can be stopped. So yes it can be done. But once you've started into this, once you've chosen on both sides, it's a dangerous process. But yes it can be done, and it can be done safely.

Emerald City Comic Con 2018 (March 1, 2018)

(walking away from the first oath is enough to break the bond to kill the spren)

Questioner

Kaladin kind of went back on his Oaths in the second book, right?

Brandon Sanderson

Yes. He started down that path.

Questioner

How could Shallan or Lightweavers go back on the Truths they make? And did Shallan do any of that in Oathbringer?

Brandon Sanderson

No, the Cryptics-- remember, how the spren is viewing this is very important. The Cryptics have an interesting relationship with truth. Harder to break your Oaths in that direction with a Cryptic. Harder to move forward, also, if you're not facing some of these things and interacting with them in the right way. But, while I can conceive a world that it could happen, it'd be really hard to for a Lightweaver to do some of the stuff. Particularly the ones close to Honor, you're gonna end up with more trouble along those lines, let's say.

Questioner

So then, what happened with the Lightweavers during the Recreance? Did they break their Oaths?

Brandon Sanderson

They did break their Oaths. I mean, breaking your Oaths as in "walking away from the first Oath" will still do it, regardless of what Order you are. You can actively say, "I am breaking my Oaths and walking away." Anyone has that option. But you also are holding the life of a spren in your hand.

Maya altered her Spiritweb sufficiently to speak by using some of Adolin’s Innate Investiture. The textual evidence strongly implies that this is the first time that a deadeye has ever consumed Investiture in this fashion.

Oooh where’s that quote from?

Spren and humans bond. While bonded they progress together though the ideals. Progression through the ideals require the humans to grow, to self actualize, to challenge them self. The spren seems to grow less rigid and show more human like personality traits. Progression through the ideals is deeply personal and difficult. They have to maintain their oaths and not act against them. The people change, and the spren seem to as well.

Conection between human and spren, reaching the third ideal and being able to manifest a weapon. A weapon that burns out the victims eyes. Severing their link to the spiritual realm. Once a spren is capable of being used to sever conection to the spiritual realm. The radiant breaking the bond with a spren severs the link to the spiritual realm that is provided to a spren through the conection their bond and the oaths spoken by the radient provide(spiritual trauma/wounded). The spren becoming a dead eye is a symbol of the former radiants dead oaths. A testemoney to the oaths they spoke, and thrown away. That died on their lips.

Spren are invigorated by investiture. Almost how a returned needs a breath. But not quite. They are of investiture moulded and shaped by perception, human or singer perception. Other spren have been seen taking care of deadeyes. But have never had any luck in reviving them, stormlight doesn’t aid in this. Connection does, the connections and bond through the spiritual realm. Spren and Human. It’s almost like spiritual rehab. Adolin is a foil for the main characters, he is dull on his own, but shines with others. He’s like a brome(Spelling) shining with stormlight. He has this effect on Maya by doing what he has always done, been there for people. The moment Adolin saw maya i didn’t sit right with him, the reality of what his blade was made manifest. The blindness he showed to his social station and that of the Parshmen his family owned, ignored still, but resembled in this catatonic spren.

So I need to quote myself from this very topic:

Technicaly, Nahel Bond is more than just Connection. Radiant and Spren are meldet into one Spiritual Entity. Cracs in Radiants Spiritweb are filled by Sprens own Investiture, Spren gaiin Inteligence in Physical realm, Radiant gain powers. But if Radiant break the Bond, he literaly ripps off part of Spren. So now, to be heald, Spren need to regain this part from somewhere else (because his Radiant is dead and he cannot take his "original" part). Connection is needet, but this is more, but Spren are made from Investiture, so they need Investiture to be healed - maybe Maya needs Adolins Innate Investiture? we know manipulation of Innate Investiture is possible (Nicrosil metalminds) so maybe this is way to go?

Set of powers depends on type of Spren, not state. So this will be Adhesion and Regrowth, no matter what. Distribution... if im correct and Renarin has his powers because Glys is damaged, that mean Adolin will gain propper powers, if Maya will be healed properly, if not, his powers could be somewhat uncorrect.
