Experience
I can't believe this doesn't exist yet. At least for me, I have had long hours of debates with friends on how to correctly pronounce character names from the cosmere. Is it Shal-lan or Sha-len? Is it A-doll-in or A-dole-in? How do you guys pronounce characters in the cosmere?
Mat
Maybe it doesn't exist to spare everyone from the explosions these arguments will cause Sha-len A-da-lin (take it or leave it) Aa-muh-ram Ren-uh-rin Say-zed Yahs-nuh And I think I'm the only person in the history of the cosmere to do this, but Mohsh. One syllable. No Moh-ash for me. Edited October 9, 2020 by Matrim's Dice

(nobody better be different for this one. ) Sa-zed.

Experience
The only reason I say it with a Y is because I heard Brandon say it that way.

Now I say: A-dole-in Shal-lan Re-nar-in Tee-en Yaz-nah Moe-ash
Ghanderflaffle
I despise the Thaylen names when it comes to pronunciations. How am I supposed to say Ym? There's no storming vowels!

Hen
For me Amaram is [uh-mar-am] yes yes I know, I'm wrong. The first time I read his name I read it [A-muh-ram] but I thought that was stupid and that no one else would read it like that so I convinced myself it was Uh-mar-am and its to late to go back. The Awakened Salad
I horribly mispronounce almost all of the Stormlight names, if I’m being honest. I think the only major characters I got right were Dalinar and Kaladin.
Honorless
Aa - though - lin (Adolin) Ray - na - rin (Renarin) Kaala - din (Kaladin) Shal - lan (Shallan) Uma - rum (Amaram) Jaz - nuh (Jasnah) Dali - naar (Dalinar) Nav - vani (Navani) El - ho - kar (Elhokar) Yum (Ym) Shpren (spren) Sa - zed (Sazed) Kel - seer (Kelsier) Veen (Vin) Used to say Sa - Reen, now I say Sa - Renée (Sarene) I pronounce Adonalsium like I was going to say Adonai but changed my mind midway into saying calcium Shouldn't this be in Cosmere or Brandon Sanderson Discussion? Why is it in Forum Games? Edited October 9, 2020 by Honorless

Truthless of Shinovar
Shallan is Sha-lawn (rhymes with salon) Jasnah is Yaz-nuh Kaladin is Kal-a-din (rhymes with paladin) Sarene is Sah-reen Dalinar is Dal-eh-nar Adolin is Ah-doh-lin Renarin is Reh-nar-in Elhokar is Ell-o-car Vin is Vin Kelsier is Kel-si-er (but said very fast so it’s more like Kel-seyr) Sazed used to be one syllable for me, but I changed my ways and called him Say-zed now Adonalsium is Add-o-nal-zee-um Edited October 9, 2020 by Truthless of Shinovar
