Brandon Sanderson is a flat-out beautiful human being. He's so sweet, apologizing to the fans when he gives us so many things in a year (especially a Stormlight book!) He makes sure the fan spaces stay with the fans, even though we would happily welcome him into them just like we welcome every new member. (Although he might get a few more questions. ) He makes sure the mods are ok with him posting updates in his own subreddit and apologizes for not being able to find a certain feature on his own. Yes, Brandon Sanderson writes wonderful books. He concocts astounding magic systems. He Breaths life into each and every character, no matter how small. He crafts beautiful worlds for us to enjoy. But he is also humble, kind, friendly, and just an all around fan-flipping-tastic person. He is amazing in every way and we don’t deserve such a scudding great author. Nathrangking Posted September 18, 2020 Report Share Posted September 18, 2020 The man is an epic human being! His writing is brilliant in its complexity and vibrance. He views the art as something that the fans deserve not just as simply a money making device. His care for and engagement with the fans is humbling to say the least.
