Zurvanight
So I'm excited. Lots of XIV feels in this trailer with familiar words like Eikons and Mothercrystal, along with people who can become summon creatures. I also love the return to high fantasy, with no sci-fi elements. Been waiting for a return to that for awhile. It's being produced by Naoki Yoshida aka the director, producer and savior of XIV and Square Enix (I mean that quite literally since saving XIV basically saved SE from financial disaster), and the director is the assistant director of XIV, Hiroshi Takai. And the battle director is Ryota Suzuki, the designer of DMC5 and Dragon's Dogma. An all star lineup so far. I heard they've gotten a lot of the people who worked on Heavensward to work on this too. Also the main character is voiced by Joe Dempsie. XIV fans will recognize him as Ardbert and GoT fans will as Gendry Baratheon. Use the Falchion
It looks really good! It reminded me of FFXIII and FFXV for some reason, but I didn't mind. I'm not 100% sure I'll pick this up, but I always enjoy seeing new Final Fantasy material.
Briar King
I just need no stupid magic flask or regional summons. Give me my MP or draw counter and the summon of your choice. Im also concerned about the lack of a shown party battle. I don’t want a single player action game.
