Don't have time to dig up the quote right now, but there are up to 3 Bondsmiths at any time. The current assumption is that the other 2 bondsmiths each bond a different unique spren, but we don't yet know what the other spren are. The Nightwatcher is currently considered pretty likley as the 2nd and "the sibling" is often considered to be the third, but we don't know either thing for a fact, and we know almost nothing about the sibling. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Quantus Posted July 20, 2020 Report Share Posted July 20, 2020 The Stormfather (and WOB) confirms that there are three "God-spren" that can make Bondsmiths: The Stormfather, the Nightwatcher, and one that is so far just called The Sibling. That's the main thing that is confirmed. We dont know much about the 3rd god-spren, and the Stormfather refuses to talk about him/her/them. The Gem Archive gives some hints that the Sibling is related to the function of Urithiru, so we suspect that Bondsmith will be needed to revive the full Tower. It also says that it was considered "seditious" to have more than 3, rather than actually impossible, which has led to the theory that a Radiant might be able to convince an Unmade to bond with them and create a voidbinding Bondsmith in the way that a corrupted spren can make a voidbinding version of other Orders. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
