It's certainly an interesting coincidence that Sadeus would say that he didn't even think a rock slide could kill Dalinar and then someone tries with a rock slide though. Sadeas had...his disagreements with Dalinar, he was way more ruthless, and things like this. But at the end of the day he really did want the kingdom to succeed and he did not want to be king.
