sylbladio
If a person dies in the Physical Realm, they appear in the Cognitive Realm for a little while. If a person goes into the Cognitive Realm (via a Perpendicularity) and then dies, what would happen? Would they just take longer to die?

We don't know what would happen, as we haven't seen such a scenario occurring. The closest incident would've been Preservation / Leras. If the person used a Perpendicularity to enter the Cognitive then they are Physically within the Cognitive Realm. Their death wouldn't be dragged out, it would be similar to getting killed in the Physical. Their Cognitive aspect should still linger on for a while in the same realm. The body might fall back into the Physical. Edited March 22, 2020 by Dreamer

Sure stabbing seems to work but what exactly that means/actually does to you remains kind of a mystery.

That would kill them, right? Here, I went looking for WoBs on the beads: Quote Questioner You know how the whole group goes into Shadesmar. What would happen if they accidentally eat a bead, and then leave Shadesmar? Brandon Sanderson That would not be good for them. Questioner Would they just explode with whatever the object was? Brandon Sanderson That's not exactly how it works. Fortunately. But I wouldn't recommend ingesting any beads. Skyward Chicago signing (Nov. 16, 2018) Quote Jess The black glass beads in Shadesmar on Roshar. If you could somehow get that material into the Physical Realm, would it hold stormlight? Brandon Sanderson So, that's a RAFO. Because getting stuff out of the Cognitive Realm into the Physical Realm is a different matter from taking stuff from the Physical Realm to the Cognitive. Jess Well, you don't have to weigh in on whether they could get it to the Physical Realm. Brandon Sanderson Still a RAFO! MisCon 2018 (May 26, 2018) Quote Hoiditthroughthegrapevine (paraphrased) If Nightblood were in the cognitive realm and was used to stab a bead that was the cognitive representation of a castle, would the castle be destroyed in the Physical Realm? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) If you could get Nightblood into the Cognitive Realm, then yes. Hoiditthroughthegrapevine (paraphrased) What would happen to people who were in the castle at the time? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) They wouldn't be affected (other than possibly plummeting to their death). Hoiditthroughthegrapevine (paraphrased) How about a carpet that had been in the castle for 50 years? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) No, 50 years most likely wouldn't be enough time. Hoiditthroughthegrapevine (paraphrased) Is this like the "Ship of Theseus?" Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) Yes Oathbringer Portland signing (Nov. 16, 2017) Edited March 24, 2020 by Dreamer
Quantus
It's known that people need food and water in the Cognitive realm, so presumably death by starvation is still a concern. Hmm, where the Fused that they fought in Shadesmar there physically in their borrowed flesh state, or where they in some sort of a voidspren form? I got the sense they were there physically which was why they had their normal powers.
