Is lift's ability to Metabolizes OP?

 I have been thinking alot about how OP Lift's ability to metabolizes food into raw investiture is. My question is is this ability universal with all abilities and connections? For example, if lift would eat a bead of lerasium would she be able to use that metabolized investiture to power all allomancy abilities?  Another possibility would be if she was able to access awakening would she be able to awaken without the need to use Biochromatic Breath?

For the Allomantic side of things, probably not. Allomancy requires the molecular structures of the metals to line up in order to let the Investiture power the magic and do what it does, but Awakening is nowhere near as particular as Allomancy. Yes, there stuff you'd have to do to get the ability to Awaken (per this WOB), but on the whole it would be easier than Allomancy.

You would probably have to jump through some hoops to Awaken (talks about systems needing rigged up to work on different planets), but anyone can benefit from a Breath. Essentially said "it's not that easy!"

Also, per this WOB (minor spoilers there, so I'm not quoting it directly, beyond the relevant section: "To Awaken with Stormlight, the easiest thing to do would be to first change Stormlight into Breaths--something that Azure doesn't know how to do. (Admittedly, Hoid doesn't either, so it's not like it's a simple thing to achieve.) You could also theoretically use some magical (or mechanical) means to power your Awakening with a different form of Investiture."

Tl;dr: Not for Allomancy, but maybe for Awakening.

The question is, does Lift make Investiture, or does she make Stormlight? if she makes unkeyed investiture, then she could probably decide to use it to Awaken instead of Surgebind, but if she makes Honor's investiture (stormlight), then she can only surgebind. Maybe she would need to have normal Breaths first, and then she would gain the ability to make more.
