okay, so we all remember Mraize's souvenirs from shardworlds: the vial of sand, the santhid skull, the preserved flower etc. however, the one that stood out the most (to me at least) was the branch with carvings on it

The branch of a tree with writing on it she couldn't read

at the time, I didn't think much of it. I thought it was just to show that Mraize is a worldhopper. however, after reading Elantris again I think it could actually be the bone of a Dakhor monk, based off the description in the book

It was like a carved piece of ivory, or a bundle of engraved wooden rods all twisted together. Most disturbingly, Raoden swore he could make out familiar symbols in the carving. symbols he recognised from his schooling- ancient Fjordell characters.

it might just be me,  but the descriptions sound similar enough to be the same thing

Fain tree from Yolen. Actually, this is canon

Questioner

[Mraize's] cosmere treasure room had a white tree branch-like thing, is that the bones from Sel?

Brandon Sanderson

It is not from Sel, it's from Yolen.
