Being a teacher sounded nice, she felt, but she wondered what she could teach, thinking back to her own education. She shouldn't teach anything she had learned, she thought. "A simple job would probably be the best," she said, feeling embarrassed. "I don't really have much of an education. I can do basic math and reading, but I've never really learned anything else." Still, she wondered if she had any right to do something like that, given what she'd done. She focused back on the soldier. "Being a teacher's helper sounds nice," she said. She then started walking in the direction the priests had indicated, looking for the high priest. Along the way she slightly used her ability, sighing in relief as she felt the gazes around her lessen. Softly Shade walked up to the door of the office, not sure if she wanted the high priest to be in or not. Trying to calm herself she looked at the priest. He looked kind, and reminded her of her uncle, back before everything happened. Somehow it made her feel more at ease, though she felt nervous at the comparison, wondering if this would end the same way.
