Hemalurgy and the Reforging of [An] Adonalsium

Hemalurgy has been mentioned as having special importance with regard to the Cosmere.

It's made me wonder about the possibility of a reforging of Adonalsium through the use of hemalurgy. As hemalurgy can imbue the "spiked" with powers accessed through other shards, it seems an appropriate (albeit gruesome) method to create/imbue an individual with all the original powers of Adonalsium.

Hopefully this would restore a greater balance throughout the Cosmere as the aspects of each Shard appear to work best in concert (Preservation and Ruin as a simple example).

In talking with a friend, we concluded that perhaps the optimal way to carry out something like this would have to be through the sacrifice of each existing Shard-holder. This makes it rather obstructed since that would be quite a sacrifice, though perhaps it would add a thematic element to the story.

 

Any insight in this regard? Could hemalurgy be used to create a being with all the original abilities of Adonalsium? Is it reasonable that anyone would want to achieve this for the good of the Cosmere?

I don't think Hemalurgy would be able to channel enough power to get anywhere near the power of a Shard, let alone Adonalsium.

Also, theories should probably go in the Cosmere Discussion forum, or the forum related to the specific series, rather than the Q&A section. Q&A threads are not a great format for discussion, because of the way they're sorted and formatted.

There's a limit to how much Investiture a given body can hold. Nightblood for example (one of the most heavily Invested things that isn't a Shard) is so 'full' already that you couldn't make it into a hemalurgic spike, and it's orders of magnitude below the Investiture capacity of a Shard. There's no way you're getting the infinite power of a Shard into a finite piece of metal. Also, Vessels don't really have a Physical body once they Ascend (the body sublimates because it can't contain the unthinkable amounts of Investiture being poured through it) and the projections they can create to interact with the Physical Realm aren't really them, just an image. There isn't really a body you could spike to steal anything.
