Theodore Smedry
After completing the series for a second time, I realized that even though Alcatraz ends his account after they leave the Highbrary, he dropped some hints that the story goes on. These include the fact that he wrote his autobiography, the fact that we know the world wasn't destroyed like Biblioden wanted because he wrote his autobiography, and a few other things he mentions about his life afterwards that I can't remember off the top of my head. Also, I know that Alcatraz suggests that one of the following happened (but most likely the first one): he and Bastille got married, Bastille married a Smedry, or Alcatraz married a Dartmoor (which is unlikely, since we only know of Bastille and her sister). I can't remember exactly what the wording is or where it was, but I am fairly sure it was in the third or fourth book if someone wants to check. Any guesses as to how Biblioden was stopped or about what life was like after the official story ends?
RShara
Did you read the note at the very end, after all the footnotes and stuff?

ZAFIRO149765
Hello, so that you can do me the favor of publishing Bastille's letter, because I have the book with a Spanish translation and the letter is not in that translation. I can't find her anywhere, please.

I happen to be rereading this right now, so I'll provide a transcript: Obviously massive spoilers Found in the very back of the book, a fold out page with a warning on the front: Spoiler DO NOT OPEN Until you finish reading the book Upon opening the page, there is a letter: Spoiler On a cold floor. In a room full of texts nobody could read. An old man groaned, then stirred. And pushed himself to his hands and knees. He'd been shot. The bullet would someday kill him. He says it will happen, inevitably. There is, indeed, no escaping that bullet. But he can delay it, and has been doing so for years. For, in that moment of panic- that moment when the end was impending, he'd reached out in desperation to his Talent. It had come to him. And the old man had arrived late to his own death. Alcatraz refuses to write any more. I've tried for months to get him to agree to do it, but he won't. He's being a stubborn idiot, so it looks like I'll have to take matters into my own hands as usual. Therefore, I hereby declare that I will write the real final volume. This story won't end until I say so. -Bastille Smedry
