Quick Fix Game 35: The Melee

Wow Ron, just look at Drake Marshall go! He's really putting that Ballintain to good use.
Indeed. Just look at those beautiful lines of Vigor, slicing through Matist Rist's final line of defenses.
I think he might be a favorite to win this, but what's this? Jeeves has attacked him from behind. Drake is out of the game!
Oh my, we were not expecting that turn of events. And now Jeeves is out as well! That's the price to pay for devoting everything to attacking.
Snip is learning that lesson the hard way. He was able to take out Amil last round, but that left him exposed. He's down for the count.
And with that, only eight Rithmatists remain. Who will take home the win?

This round will end on Monday, January 14th at 4:00 PM EST. And as always, get in your actions.

Anyone willing to reveal their alliances? Because I'm thinking that some of the alliances are overlapping at this point. . .

True. However, we can make inferences, based on players' actions in earlier rounds. I will not mention my inferences here, obviously. But I'll refrain from attacking you until we have fewer people left - if you do the same.

Also, sorry for attacking you last round. I guess it's all good, as you're still alive.

 Glad I defended. And sure, I will refrain from attacking you as well.

So I guess it is

  1. A Joe in the Bush: Joseph Watson
  2. I think I am here: Pete Gazon
  3. Lumgol: Logmul of Sdrawkcab

Vs.

  1. xinoehp512: Rogiv
  2. Elandera: Tahrie Field
  3. Rathmaskal: Notath Reat
  4. Droughtbringer: Matist Rist
  5. Kidpen: Newt Scamander

Or how ever those 5 are divided. Hey Drought, since I 'saved you' from Lum last cycle, want to switch sides?

Ok, I lied a bit when I said all my allies are dead. I got you guys! But also Drought, who I’ve got agreement not to kill each other with.

So:

The Allies

  1. A Joe in the Bush: Joseph Watson
  2. I think I am here: Pete Gazon
  3. Lumgol: Logmul of Sdrawk
  4. Droughtbringer: Matist Rist

Vs.

The Evil Guys

  1. xinoehp512: Rogiv
  2. Elandera: Tahrie Field
  3. Rathmaskal: Notath Reat
  4. Kidpen: Newt Scamander

Which makes things a little more even, and if each of us attacks each of them, we could win, right? Especially if some of them are inactive.

OK, we could do that, or how about 2 of us target 1 person and the other 2 people defend some of us? I can defend Joe and Drought can defend Itiah, who coordinate who to attack. Unless Drought wants someone to defend them?

I like the defense idea. Leaves no room for failure or fighting back, unless they have Ballantain, in which case, we can’t really do anything about it anyway.

This would be easier if I knew your guyses defenses.

You want to exchange? :P

Okay, plan:

Lumgol defends 1 of Drought or Itiah. They flips a coin to decide who.

Itiah defends 1 of Lumgol or Joe. They flip a coin to decide who.

Joe attacks one of Kidpen or Elandera. They flip a coin to decide who.

Drought attacks one of Kidpen or Elandera. They flip a coin to decide who.

That way we know in general what the plan is, but the enemy faction does not.

EDIT: Or, if one of the 4 of us took the Ballantain defense, they attack, and the rest of us defend either them or us at random.
