Like @Invocation said, there are two planned Elantris sequels in the works (the first of which is planned to be set a decade after the events of Elantris, star Kiin's family and focus on Fjorden) but Brandon has said that The Emperor's Soul worked so well the way it is that he's not sure he wants to write a sequel to it.
