You were pinged because your profile indicated that you have been online within the past three hours, yet you hadn't posted since cycle 1.

The three potential lynchees.

Kidpen- Hasn't posted this cycle despite being active elsewhere. It's quite difficult to find their posts because of all the other threads they're involved in. Regrets lynching Coop, believes Sart is good, doesn't think Gancho's voting pattern makes him evil.
Xinoehp- Hasn't really said anything other than checking in and noting that they're here. Voiced some suspicion of me, yet hasn't come back to elucidate. Seems similar to his usual style, though in previous games he's been more likely to back up suspicion with a vote, or at least place a vote on whoever was leading the lynch at that point.
Snipexe- Checks in late cycle one. Claims that rollover is at a bad time, then is on close to rollover for cycles one and four. Opposes the suspicion of Crimsn enough to vote for the first player to suggest her being attacked was suspicious. Suggests lynching DeathClutch as a way to clear the Dining Room, then doesn't actually vote for him.

If there's a Mind Control Epic, they don't seem to be interested in affecting the lynch results, so if I created a tie, it would probably stand. I left this far too late again, but I'll vote Xinoehp this cycle for diverging from his usual play style, and observe how the dynamics of having Kidpen, Snipexe, and Shqueeves in the same room plays out.

Cycle 5

"I do hope that you're not trying to poison me, Colonel."

Colonel Ketchup was about to take offence at the suggestion before Sir Sabien Ash laughed and he realized it had been a joke.

“Oh, yes, right. Good one, Ash. I must say, you had me worried for a second there. Poison indeed. With everything happening around here my nerves are a bit on edge.

“Cheer up old boy. You'll stress the meat right off your bones if you keep that up.” Sir Sabien grinned and took the sauce, leaving the Colonel alone in the room.

Colonel Ketchup heard a scuffle from upstairs and left to investigate.

Naidiriv was tired. The day had been long and emotionally trying. He had tried staying awake for his own safety but he couldn't keep his eyes open a moment longer.

I'll just take a short rest. I've got my vest, so at least I'll be somewhat protected.

There was a knock at the door of his room. Sergeant Salmon walked in and pointed a gun at him.

“What's the meaning of this??” Naidiriv stared in shock.

“Don't give me that. We found a note you wrote to Governor Green and the handwriting was identical to that of the notes from the Rightful Rulers! I'm gonna need you to come with me to headquarters.”

Naidiriv gaped. “My handwriting?! That's absurd!”

Salmon held up a note in a plastic bag. It was the most recent note from the death of the epic, Raven. Naidiriv paled. It was identical to his handwriting...but how?

He was escorted downstairs. Colonel Ketchup wandered out of the Dining Room when they reached the bottom of the stairs.

“I say, what's going on, Sergeant? Has a murderer been found?” Sergeant Salmon replied, but Colonel Ketchup didn't hear him. He’d begun vomiting uncontrollably and fell to the floor, clutching his stomach. Maybe poison wasn't such a stretch after all.

Sapphire Snip needed a snack. The kitchen had been watched closely since an officer had died there earlier, but when he worried he got hungry. He didn't think anyone would mind if he snuck in for a midnight snack.

The kitchen was dim, lit only by some small lights above the stove area. Snip glanced around and didn't see anyone. He shrugged. More food for me.

He began looking through the cabinets and heard a noise from behind. He turned and froze. Were those….giant gardening shears??? They came flying right towards him at a frightening pace. He side stepped just in time as they hit the cabinets with a heavy thunk.

He ducked down, searching the room with his mind trying to find the person responsible for throwing the shears. Wait...how did they get…

Sapphire Snip was struck from behind. The police found his body, a giant pair of gardening shears lying on the floor beside him. Sapphire Snip had been snipped.

Well, it seems I'm down to one cycle to analyze what I think happened.

First of all, Even though I defended  Gancho last cycle, I am considering placing my vote on him this cycle, because I have reason to believe that he poisoned me. Why? Because night 1, I item scanned him, and he had a poison. Then I've been in the same room as him ever since, and now I'm poisoned. I just barely item scanned Stink, who was also in the same room as me, and he did not have anything other than a mobile Item, which I already knew he had, because he was in communication with me.

Secondly, Xino, I'm sorry, I feel partially responsible for your lynch, and originally my plan was to remove my vote from you, I just forgot to get back on before the cycle ended. I would also be suspicious of Megasif and Devotary if Kidpen flips elim.

On that note, Analyzing trends of where Kills by the rightful rulers have been, C1, Kidpen was in the room, C2, there was no kill, C3 Kidpen was not in the room, but C4, he was. Also, of the original people in the kitchen, Kidpen is the only one who is still alive that hasn't been attacked. So While I am still suspicious of Gancho, It is entirely possible that he was suspicious of me and decided to try a vigilante kill, I think I will be placing my vote on Kidpen. That would put my secondary suspicion on Megasif

That being said, I had considered another possibility. Someone phased into my room, then poisoned me, then left this cycle. I frankly thought this was possible, until I remembered that phasers drop items when they phase.

I didn't look at any vote patterns, or timing of votes/vote removals. If I have time later on this afternoon, (which I believe I might) I will do so, keeping in mind that I already suspect Kidpen, Megasif, then Gancho, in that order.

Well, I'm not 100% sure I should be sorry. All I have is you saying you're a villager. I'm not gonna vote for you again, based on your reaction to being told you had one cycle to live, but it's still possible you're an elim, I guess. I guess I'll know when the poison kills ya.

I will not confirm or deny that I poisoned you.

Fair enough.

So this is only in case you were the one to poison me:
I mean it was a pretty wise decision, based on your suspicions, and the knowledge that you likely had as a villager, or as an Elim.

You were with me from the beginning every time, and as soon as we both ended up in the dining room, you tried the poison then, which was also after another person joined with us as well. Thus being able to blame the other person. Unfortunately for you, I was able to item scan you, and I knew you had a poison, and I also Item scanned Stink, and he did not.

Anyway, additional analysis. I suspect that the rightful rulers will try to make at least one person seem completely unrelated from all elim kills. I could be wrong about this my theory, but in my head it makes sense that if they were able to keep as many kills as possible as far away from one of their team members, then it would be much harder to track them down.

Also, if by chance, anyone has a secret vial of antidote or healing powers, I would be very thankful if you used it on me!;)

Oh, well, if you've already guessed I poisoned you, sorry. I kinda wish I hadn't, now that I saw your reaction. :)

However, I won't be truly sorry until I know who you are.

Regardless, it seems all of my votes are wrong, so we'll see if I place a vote this round. :)

@STINK@Shqueeves@Crimsn-Wolf @Mr Doctor@Sart

@Kidpen@Droughtbringer

@Devotary of Spontaneity

Hey guys, I know I'm not a beacon of activity myself but I have been trying to be online every cycle. Not putting votes in will only help elims. And elims will likely leave us alone if we're destroying ourselves.

As far as I know, there aren't any items that heal poison. Elims know gancho is poisoner. Cadmium is going most likely. They could be elim or village. We will find out regardless.

If cadmium is elim then he's trying to get villa kidpen while he's at it. If village then we can assess where we're at. But I don't think I'll be voting kidpen just yet although cadmium is linking me and kidpen.

I'm currently suspicious of Shqueeves and somewhat of Sart as well. I don't know exactly what stink is doing. I feel he would try to have more thread control if he were an elim though and try to have more of a presence. I feel Gancho is village here from his interaction with cad. Other people I can't recall any posts from at all are Crims-wolf and Droughtbringer

Any thoughts?

Excuse you, I have made a singular post every cycle, I believe. :P I have been watching the thread as much as I can every cycle, but I underestimated how hard it would be to keep up with a QF. I havent been able to do any analysis, which is why I havent placed any votes or really done anything at all.

Gancho would have known that he was the only viable suspect for poisoning CadCom, as Stink was confirmed to have a mobile.  Gancho did vote for CadCom cycle 2, so it makes sense that Gancho would have chosen to poison CadCom over Stink. However, Gancho has been in the same room as CadCom the entire game, yet waited until cycle 4 to poison him. @Gancho Libre, why did you chose to use your poison when you did?

Also is the countdown clock frozen for everyone again this cycle. It still says 23 hours left, like it said early this morning.

The countdown clock is indeed frozen.

Kidpen, Shqueeves, and Megasif were all in the Kitchen with Snipexe. Of the three, I believe Kidpen is the best lynch for this cycle. From his death, we should be able to determine whether the odd interaction between Kidpen and Gancho cycle one had any alignment indicative meaning, and whether Megasif's shifting the vote towards Xinoehp away from Kidpen and the elim victim stemmed from malicious intent.

I've got a bit more analysis to add on. This is an analysis of those I already find suspicious, and looking at their voting history.

Kidpen: C1, Coop, C2, none, C3, None, C4, none, C5, Gancho.

There isn't much to analyze here, other than many people thought that the kidpen vote on Coop was odd, as he was joining on my wagon, which was based off of retaliation for Lynching the GM. @Coop772 I'm sorry, If I had seen that you were going to be completely lynched for it, I would have removed my vote. But such is the nature of C1 lynches.

Then of course, there's the C5, which is probably part out of self defense.
---
Devotary:
C1, Itiah,
C2, Itiah (Final vote, secured his death) Interesting to note that the alternative was megasif, who I will look at later.
C3, Deathclutch: Crucial support vote. Could have suggested another candidate, instead secured vote on Deathclutch
C4 Xino, A possible alternative was Kidpen, but instead, secured vote on Xino, late in the cycle.
C5, Kidpen. I personally believe that this could very well be a distancing vote here.

I seem to notice quite a few of relatively late votes from Devotary in this game. I think that's something he does somewhat often, but I'm too lazy to verify that. Anyone else want to confirm that?
---
Megasif
C1, Schqueeves
C4, Xinoehp. This vote swayed the lynch away from Kidpen or Snip, toward, a (now) confirmed villager
C5, Schqueeves. An attempt to sway the vote from Kidpen again?

Megasif is almost more suspicious than Kidpen to me. But that is only because I am suspicious of Kidpen in the first place, so for that reason, I will leave my vote on Kidpen for now.
---
Gancho:
C1, Kidpen
C2, CadCom
C3, None
C4, Snipexe(I also believe that he poisoned me this cycle)

I would blame his lack of vote C3 to relative inactivity. I am leaning village on him, but if he is elim, then he was waiting so that not too many deaths happened in the Ballroom at the same time.

If my death helps the village, it's worth it. And don't worry if you've gotten all of your votes wrong so far. So Have I and everyone else as far as we know. And if I'm right, then Maybe you didn't get the Kidpen vote wrong, C1. Of course, there's also the possibility that you were just trying a distancing tactic, as Itiah, and others pointed out earlier.

As an last option, if you really don't know, vote for Kidpen or Megasif, and blame it on doing me a favor. Preferbly Kidpen, but either works.

TL;DR

If I had to bet my life on it, (and I kind of do) I would say that Kidpen, Megasif, and Devotary are all on the Elim team. It's unlikely that I'm 100%, but I feel more confident about this than many other suspicions in past games. If one of these is not Elim, then perhaps Gancho is, but they are now my 4th highest suspect.

Edit: It appears that A clock was posted, but it also isn't counting down, so I got rid of it. It looks like the same issue has taken place on other forums that use this countdown clock as well.

Hi everyone. One assignment down, 3 to go. I finally have more time to be active.

I honestly think that the Poison clears Gancho more than it condemns him. He should have known that he would be the only suspect as poisoner last Cycle, since STINK has a Mobile and we haven’t seen anyone have more than one item or power yet. So why would Elim!Gancho poison CadCom now? If the Elims wanted CadCom dead, they could have done it earlier, waited, or just had Elim!Gancho kill him normally. Instead, it’s obvious who poisoned CadCom. Seems like it’s almost a trade of an Elim for a Villager, which seems ridiculous, unless this is currently LyLo. I think that it’s also pretty unbalanced for the Elims to have a Kill item and an Elim-kill.

I think that this demonstrates that Gancho’s use of the Poison doesn’t make sense if he was an Elim. Additionally, Gancho’s reaction reads Village to me.

I’m going to write up what powers we’ve seen. I’ll define “powers” as Epic powers or Items.

Accounted For

Poison                         1          Gancho

Knife                           1          Deathclutch

Mobile                        2          STINK, Itiah

Smoke                         2          Elandera, Coop

Vest                             1          Xino

X-Ray                          1          CadCom

Mind Control             1          Snipexe

Steel                            1          Crimsn

Unaccounted For

Gun

Illusion

Phasing

Invisibility

I think that it’s reasonable to assume that there is one of each Epic power, and that everyone has a power or item. Some things (like Smoke) are not so powerful that a bunch of people having them wouldn’t be too powerful. There are 10 items accounted for, and 17 players. If we assume that the Gun, Illusion, Phasing, and Invisibility exist and are unique, then we have 3 duplicates that we don’t know about. I’m guessing that there’s 1 of each Kill power as well, so that means that we have some duplicates of Mobile, Smoke, and Vest.

I know what my item is, so I know a little bit more than this. But I’m not sure if it’s such a good idea to share it.

This means that the Village has one Kill power left in the Gun (I said earlier that I think that all Kill powers are Village), and the Elims almost certainly have at least one Epic power. Anyone have anything to add? Any thoughts on what this means?

If I’d had the time, I would have written a program that visualised the movements of every player to show how they correlate to deaths. For now, I agree that there is a link between Kidpen and the Elim kills that isn’t so strong that he’s being obvious.

I won’t vote on him yet, but I likely will later in the Cycle. For now, people who I’d like to hear from are @STINK, @Droughtbringer, and @Sart. The former two have said very little and the latter usually has something good to add to a discussion.

Votes

Kidpen (2) - CadCom, Devotary

Shqueeves (1) - Megasif

Gancho Libre (1) - Kidpen

The rules do specifically account for the possibility of an elim making a kill with an item, so I wouldn't say it's too unbalanced, especially if there's a small elim team or one with otherwise weak roles.

We know Sart had a Mobile cycle 1, which he promptly dropped. BR confirmed that Sart didn't get his mobile back, so one of Xinoehp, Droughtbringer, or you must have picked it up. Xinoehp wasn't listed as having a mobile, which presumably means he either dropped it or, more likely, never got it. That means it's probable that either you or Droughtbringer received that mobile.

Claiming a gun while quoting a post espousing the belief that the player with the gun is a villager is an interesting strategy. If you do have a gun, you really only have three choices; you can shoot me, you can abstain from using the gun, or you can drop the gun. Guns cannot target players in different rooms, and there would be no point in shooting CadCom as he's been poisoned, so I'm the only one you can shoot(other than yourself).
