If something gets surprise sent on a Friday-- I know I can't get to it. Just speaking for myself, it takes 4-7 hours for me to go through these things, and I can't do it every night. I'm in for this week with edits on last time's flash, plus another piece. I'll actually crit this time since I wanted to get a feel for it from reading crits of stuff I've actually read. Yeah, it doesn't hurt to be a bit assertive about the slots. I always let everyone know when we have too many submitters lined up. I also don't always have a chance to check the forum for last-minute requests on Monday morning, so I've posted a confirmation on Sunday night and there are still a couple of spots available, it's probably safe to send something if you don't see anyone else on this thread clamouring for the slots. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
