I know him online, I'd say, but I've never met him in person or spoken over vc with him. I don't have the clearance to answer whether or not he's a bot. I am the youngest mod. I have not been on Shardcast yet. I would think not cause the shard doesn’t have ads to make money as far as I can tell and hosting a website already costs money, so the only income would be from the patreon they have.
